Great to see Gentry back on the podium, last year wasnā€™t too great for him but this year was an awesome comeback.

Who I really wanted to see was Korean champion Oh Jiho but he didnā€™t attend. Heā€™s a little more sloppy than most players but I think his tricks are the closest thing to challenging Hajime. If he had a clean routine itā€™d definitely be at least a threat to dethrone Hajime.

Yeah I expected top 3 at the very least for Nate.

Full solo ham 4a was sooooo good. Didnā€™t score well, but that was my favorite freestyle of all 4 days.

I saw the scorecard. Top 3 was obviously very close, but nate was like 5 points behind that, which is insane.

I think everyone was really hyped for Nateā€™s fs because he didnā€™t make finals at Nats so it was his first 3 minute fs this year

I am stoked that Gentry won. He really is the reason I starting really learning to yoyo. The Shutter was my first real metal yoyo. The wide angle is one of my favorite throws. Absolutely the most versatile throw I own. So much so I just bought another the other day.
