The 0A Thread (Fixed Axle & Modern Responsive)

Lmao, whoops :joy:

That’s super dope, I definitely need to invest in a new pit, thanks for the reminder. And yes it was a nice change of pace down here, it was well deserved!

Dude, it’s unreal what you pulled of with that thing

For anyone who isn’t aware, that is an extremely difficult yoyo to do anything on, it takes some serious skill

But that’s what’s fun about it, the challenge to force it to do such things, makes ya feel like you are learning to yoyo for the first time again

Thank you, brother!
It was a fun and satisfying challenge. Kinda forces you to think outside the box.

Was throwing these three SW wooden gems. SW is amazing. Every wooden, and plastic (or whatever material the survivaist and the other one i have is ) yoyo. (I’m bad with material and names but i love yoyos! )…. @Glenacius_K makes some out of this world yoyos!

The survivalist is made with recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). That is the plastic that most plastic bottles are made from (eg detergent bottles).

Updated @Rich boise wood yoyo. Colors are insane. And the response is great. Loving a little woody fixed action on Friday.

I look at this picture and it brings me back to being a child in the 80’s.

Hanging out with a buddy looking at each other’s baseball cards…

Got it, need it, got it, got it, need it….

I nearly snagged that one I reached out after and plan to ask for a commission on one similar cause it’s so good looking. I’m excited to see if his next iteration includes “speed holes”

I am doing a commission but instead of yo-yos I’m asking rich to make me a lazy Susan for my wife for Christmas

It’s basically a giant yo-yo.

Was very happy to learn and start landing a GT stall regularly. Loving stringing together stalls for a 0A style combo.

Dude, whatever the soupontheside that you did with the green triangle, I have never seen that, that was awesome!!!

@Yodaddyo have you seen this before? It would be knot city for me

Check out the bandalores page on IG @edhaponik and others posted up tons of tutorials and the GT is by Drew i think it’s the second post all the way at the bottom of the list. I’ve been studying them again for the last few weeks and keep finding things i didn’t see last year. Probably a lifetime of work on that page for me.

That GT is basically the same as a 1A style brother trapeze GT entrance when you go to the inside and pull your hand out. Tricky part is actually landing the stall but one you have that the GT toss is same concept. I deff landed a few knots practicing, and on a fixed wooden one piece yoyo it was a pain to get out, so i recommend practice on a take apart.
