Dude, that thing looks gorgeous, looks to be made from Blue Gum? If so, that’s my favorite wood of his, and the five hole break response with it is perfection

You are doing awesome brother, love the tricks and progress

This is my favorite from @DLC

Short video with it. Ignore my little awkward giggle of excitement in the middle of the video when I toss it up and catch it. That trick is always a tough one for me.

That is the best I’ve seen I need to just pull the trigger and commission something I want

hey gang, just got a ZGRT Janus, looking for some tips on setup.

Currently have it stock but something feels lacking, i want some more response on it. i’m using a shorter string as well and brass SEs

Wondering how people have theirs set up and if there’s anything i could do

I know about greasing but would need some recommendations on any specific products

(also where i can get half spec C bearings)

Half spec c can be found on Amazon for cheap. Search up 1/4" x1/2" x1/8 bearings.

My favorite lube is Nano-Oil but Super Lube is also good.

I’m also having a factory make delrin half spec bearings but they aren’t here yet.

Yep that’s the good stuff.

Just for fun I also tried this out the other day actually. Took a 1/8 sheet of hardwood maple and laser cut a half spec out of it. Plays reasonably well. Have been using it for stalls at my desk, checking to see if it holds up to use.
