People should respect you and your personal property. It is a shame that someone has to be careful where they take their own things.

We’re at a private school so whenever they try to annoy me they make sure the teacher isn’t looking. And even if i do react big when they’re not looking, I’ll be ashamed for overeating for a “toy”
Sorry for the long wall of text but I kind of have this stuff blocked inside me from long time and this is the perfect chance to release it.
It is unbelievable how all the world is the same, it doesn’t matter what year is and what society is, it is always the same thing and humans are so similar even comparing cultures and other apparent differences.
When I was a kid I always hate kids picking up on other kids, it happened to me when I was around 13 years old and left a mark on me that still I remember 20 years later, around 15 the situation drastically changed luckily also cause change of school and schoolmates (italian school is structured differently than USA and UK school) plus I grew up a bit and even I became a “popular” kid in the new school, even if my situation changed I always did my best to include everyone and even more the considered “losers” or “different” as everyone need to be respected and have friends.
Bullies are usually people that lack confidence or need attention, you find them when you are a kid, you find them when you are an adult, just with a different style.
I also never understood why people joke other people hobbies, instead of judge I always being curious to what other people did and do, comics, extreme sport, punk, cosplay, anime, make up, paint miniatures and everything you can imagine, I kept always the door open and try to learn something new instead of judge, hate and disrepect someone.
If I can give you a small advice @Scoogy, the school years will go away quickly and you will find your real friends and the people that love and accept you for what and how you are, learn how to “delete” all the negative people from your life and everyone that disrepect you, also learn how to report people that behave badly with you, do not be scared or this people will exagerate even more knowing that you do not react, be brave and react but not with punches or physical fight this will not bring you anywhere, react using your brain, report, ignore this people and find your friends and your group of people, be curious and open to everyone that you meet and want to meet you and you will discover some amazing stuff along the way.
Damage your yoyo is a coward move, not only because is your possession and is also expensive, that person tried to overcome you and show “how cool they are” in front of everyone, quite cringe, keep doing what you doing Marco and have fun!

Kids do stupid impulsive things. Everyone here has done something like that. It’s okay to be angry because it’s something valuable to you. Your friend didn’t hurt your yoyo to be mean. It was just an impulsive thing. If I can give you advice, I would suggest explaining calmly what the yoyo means to you and give him a chance to apologize. If he does, then just forgive him. If he doesn’t apologize or doubles down on his actions, then just don’t be around him. He may not be mature enough to handle the situation. Either way he’s going to remember what he did years from now and feel bad about it.
In the long run, it just isn’t that big a deal. Yoyos get damaged, and people make mistakes, that doesn’t mean you should throw either one away

And to add on to that, you never know what someone is going through at home. Every single person has a whole world that no one sees. He may just have been looking for a way to vent frustration and it ended up being you.

There are more subtle ways to get the same kind of revenge if that is the route chosen. Like dropping a chocolate chip on his chair before he sits down. But I still don’t recommend it as it’s not worth the effort to get back at people.
