zipline exec lites are the nylons(80/20 i think)
that i find perform predictably for slacks and whips. they also feel stupid soft, aren’t too thick, and last forever

Slackicides according to a YYE competitor, chief reason mentioned (among others) being that suicide tends to get auto-flagged on YouTube and reduces/removes monetization.
Personally, I down for either, but “Suicides” just feels 2edgy4me. Slackicides feels like something I would hear from the announcer in a Halo multiplayer match, which is better imo (by at least twice, maybe even thrice, as much)

You can use technique to bully pretty much whatever string youre using to stay open, even with bad string tension. The key is that pull th away from the yoyo at the right moment and the loop will get a bit smaller but also open up more so it’s easier to catch. This concept is clear in this video.

I mean… He does, but suicide is easy, especially when someone put that wall in your way, but I feel like getting him to say Slackicide is actually an achievement.

@nightshadow was making super soft strings that hold their loops well. Idk if he’s still producing them, but they are one of my absolute faves (they are REAL thick, so if you don’t like chunky string, might not be your cup of tea)

I was so inconsistent with these but after 5 mins my hit rate really went up, just need to smooth out my technique. Thank you for sharing this wisdom

I appreciate everyone’s help. Went with a variety. Excited to see what all the fuss is about, been using yoyoexpert poly forever (which if anyone needs some bulk string, I highly recommend picking some up from the store.)
