Soft string that holds loops for suicides?

Switching to pure nylon will take a little getting used to, but stick with it for a little and break them in and it’ll be almost impossible to go back to poly. Also it’s so nice that the ZS airs last for months lol

I appreciate the tips and I’ll follow that advice.

You won’t be disappointed by any of that. A few things I’ve noted on these. The Skyline and ZS.Air both have bounce to them which acts as a nice little shock absorption at the end of the throw… softening that thunk a little bit. The ZS feels a tad less bouncy than Skyline. The Executive Class is not so bouncy but still not as stiff as 100% Poly. All of them feel so soft and nice on the throw finger and glide so nice across the fingers during tricks. The Skyline and ZS both interact more slippy with response than the EC as well. This makes EC my choice for responsive throws. These are just a few things I’ve observed and people’s opinions will vary. Jeremy at Zipline told me some time back that he recommended a really good stretch on his strings before use. I’ve followed that advice ever since and it tames the bounce considerably. As per his instructions, every time I put a new string of his on I twist, and twist, and twist the yo-yo until the string is so tight it barely spins 1-2 times when you spin it. I then hold the yo-yo under my feet and stretch that string as hard as I can. Jeremy said “don’t be scared, you’re not going to hurt the string”
I can concur after having given this treatment to probably nearly 50 strings, it doesn’t hurt it… and I do feel like it benefits from it. That’s just my take.

The loops can get slippery, adding something a little tacky to the loop can help it stay secure. I like “gorrilla snot” drum stick compound, but I’m sure others can chime in with more affordable or common options

What Kyle said too.

I intend on trying multiple manufactures. I started with Zipline from the glowing recommendations. The presentation does not disappoint. My Onedrop M2 came today as well.

Strung up an executive class lite using the “extra twisty pull pull” method, and I am loving it. I’ll come back in a few weeks after putting some hours on these few packs and give thoughts.
