Is there a point you are making? I was quite clear that describing modern yo-yo’s as smooth is describing every yo-yo on the market.

In the old days, General-Yo stood out because they were remarkably smooth when many yo-yo’s were not. Also, many yo-yo’s were not very good. Describing it as smooth was meaningful back then. Now? Not so much.
