I think what everyone is trying to say is that “smoothness” is very subjective. No one can give you the correct answer here, only a bunch of opinions based on their handling of one yoyo from a batch of ten or up to hundreds I assume. Even @MarkD was just making a funny, those 400 yoyos were only a couple different designs at most.

lol i’m just saying the person who’s yo-yos and competition team have won 40% of world 1a titles in the last 10 years might know a thing or two about what makes a yo-yo perform well

Bimetals are less likely to be and stay smooth
The yeti isn’t a bimetal, an those two I’ve posted have Been the smoothest bi metal yo-yo’s I’ve played with so far this year
