I made a lacquered white oak Harbinger for @codinghorror.

I’ve never seen a lacquered white oak yoyo before. The wood is really open and absorbent, it kept on drinking up each coat.

Do you only treat the outside of the yoyo? Or the walls of the response area too?

Only the very inner flat wall and the axle is not lacquered.
