got it!
Dear God.
You poor Ba$tards.
The community, Never forgets.
Also I was never here……
@Grendel sighting
I’ve got to add that @Niki is for sure not the kind of person to do such things, she has been an excellent friend and has helped me a lot in getting a lot of yoyos for a cheaper price. Dropping the shipping address here and telling others to avoid the address makes buying from the BST much harder for a lot of people on the forums. Not cool man.
I also don’t understand why you thought dropping the details of the other buyer, who isn’t involved in the whole situation (as far as I understand, this whole thing is between you and Eddie Jia), is a good idea.
Nevertheless, I’m glad it has been mostly resolved and hopefully the shipping company will compensate the buyer.
im laughing imagining someone trying to sell a mint powder coat 420 and it actually looks like what the guy sent. like its crazy to assume you were responsible especially when theres a third party involved
Here’s my honest input (not that anyone asked for it)…
First… @KNOMAD honestly, take really good pics of your throws from now on before you ship. Also, verify, and try to get pics, as soon as it arives at the first destination. I know this can be a pain, but it has saved me in the past. When I buy, I always try to send a pic as soon as it arrives. When I sell, I try to send one the day it goes in the mail.
@EddieJIA …change you dang @. You are not A-RT. Ridiculous man. It makes you look totally suspicious and sets you up to be called out as a scammer. Did Knomad cross every T and dot every I? Maybe not. But humans are not perfect. If you were willing to buy from him, then you trusted him. Obviously you thought he was honest, so trust in that honesty, and take his word. It was probably the repacker, let’s be honest here. Second hand repackers suck. They generally don’t care, and they don’t put the time and effort someone with a reputation to uphold does.
On a side note… if you want a 100% mint throw with a guarantee, I’m sure @YoYoExpertGarrett can get you a few.
Seriously, the only way to ensure you never have these issues? Buy new.
I’ve seen that image before.
That tragedy could have easily been prevented.
That guy had just left the World Chili Eating Contest.
He downed 6 Ghost chiles. Didn’t even drink a milk chaser.
He was ok until he left and then made the biggest mistake of his life.
He thought it would be Ok to fart with the windows rolled up.
And it might have been if the guy riding shotgun wasn’t smoking a Cigar.
True story.
PS…. I work in Collision repair. From my extensive experience, I immediately could see that car is gonna need new floor mats and a new windshield.
