It’s not the length. It’s how they are unnecessary. It seems that if you have the chance to get your point across in a few sentences, what’s the point of writing an essay? But, if you enjoy doing that, I don’t have a problem with it.
Writing isn’t a chore to some; it’s an art.

Once I get my lazy butt moving again and nickel plate it I may visit eBay with it.

To answer the OPs question, the same thing happens with vintage cars. It isn’t always about the most cutting edge of performance for collectors. Historical significance plays a big role in collectibility.
I’m sure that’ll fetch a pretty penny. Heck, I love that masking/blasting thing you do on the polish, so I’d probably bid myself.
Speaking of yothrowbling Peaks, the pink mountain one you did was just gorgeous. If there’s a picture of that knocking around then I’m sure we’d all love to see it. 
you can’t do horizontal with a peak?
Pretty sure, at least I always heard, that is a Wooly Marmot. Which Chris has said was just an undersized Peak. So you can actually do horizontal with an undersized Peak if that’s the case ;D

I only have 1 - a HS peak (i think it’s a 2nd run) but I love it!! hope to get a 28 stories one day
I also have a Hulk peak. Pretty sure there were 104 of those made.
