My most impotant hobby-hobby, is shooting sports, mostly 300m rifle in the national league, also tried once to go international CISM, but that did not pan out. I also train Airrifle 10m, ISSF and sometimes I go to the 25m/50m ordonance Pistol range, to train for these disciplines too. Shooting sports allow me to activly meditate, refocus and to be competitive.

I also have a lot of practices/hobbies, that are also partially professional to me. Like art: Painting, drawing, printing, video, photo (film + digital), wood carving. Probably comes with the diploma, being a graphic designer. Did not reach any public success with any of those, but they are not strictly hobby either and to me art is more important than anything.

Besides that, I like bicycle touring (MTB as a teen), chess, kalimba, harmonica, bumerangs (kayli), primitive javlin, balearic slingshot, nature+wildlife, reading in general and as you all know; debating like an angry badger (sometimes). But these interests change from time to time, in intensity (but not bicycles, that’s also the way I get around)

… and now YoYo too

besides yo-yoing, most of my free time gets divided between:
• playing music (mostly bass, but also ukulele) in a band and local jazz gigs.
• practicing aikido and iaido theses past 25 years (WOW i’m old) and also try to keep up w yoga and tai chi.
• skateboarding (or surfing when i get the chance).
• and also running, albeit slowly.
• is schlepping your kids around a hobby? bc i’ve basically made a second career of that lol.

No, it is not a hobby. It is a second career.

If you want to jump right in and learn, you can not beat an E-Flite Apprentice. But i do always highly, highly recommend a good trainer for the computer. I personally use RealFlight sim. The sim will absolutely pay for itself in broken parts and frustration, and inbsome cases, safety as well.

Sweet. What is your favorite discipline? :gun:

I mean like you got any suggestions for a plane

I am also down with the pewpews
