So now that I’m trainning more periodically I end up adding a lot of used string on my drawer, so I decided to make this ball that I see sometimes.

I started this after seeing the first post in December. So this is about six months of old string.

My wife’s friend owns a candle company and uses these really nice jars, so once we burn the candles down we clean the jars out and use them for a variety of household storage uses. Including my string graveyard:

I set this up on top of my yoyo shelf, which is in a windowsill above where I work making strings so it’s a nice little display while I’m working.

Haha honestly some of them probably are. I make strings all the time and I always have a bunch of extras, plus pure nylon strings last practically forever so if I want to change what color or formula string is on a particular yoyo, it’s not really a huge deal for me to change it out even if it’s not totally worn out yet.
