Would the Surge be good for 3A? I’m attempting to learn 3A, and I’m debating whether or not to get OneStars, Classics, or Surges.

I think out of those 3 choices the Surge would be best for 3A.

I myself am absolutely hopeless at 3a, and I don’t really know what makes a good 3a yoyo, but for starters I think a pair of any decent 1a plastics would work great.

I’m kinda in the same boat, but I think what makes a good 3A yoyo (imo) is a large diameter with good rim weight, and I think a narrow width would help too.

That basically sims up the Surge then. Solid, lots of rim weight, slightly larger diameter and less width.

I know, but the shape bothers me a bit.

I’m pretty adaptable when it comes to yoyos. Pretty much anything will float my boat.

The only thing that stops it from being a perfect 3A starter pair is the narrow width. Otherwise, it’s great.
