Hey, I did the same thing over the weekend, but I’m far less experienced and kind of screwed up the stone transfer. Here is my frankenpizza, unedited or resized cause I’m lazy. Tastes better than half the local joints around here, and NJ has some great pizza. I made a homemade sauce and used some good quality fresh mozzarella, and especially good pepperoni (only on half of it unfortunately).

i worked in a couple restaurants when i was younger, so i know how to make and throw/stretch dough. but, when the kiddo was real little (2-3ish) and we wanted to get him into helping out - we cheated on the making part. our grocery has great pre-made (but not cooked or stretched) doughs in the bakery. we’d just pull them out and let the rise in advance… we’d also prep the pizza on the room temp stone for safety reasons, obviously. it wasn’t regina’s in the north end  but it was hella better than anything we can get around here. and, it got the little guy interested in cooking early… that and making cookies

Starting to make Kefir water “soda”:

Not sure if I like it as much as the regular Kefir, but I’m still tweaking it. My boys have started to like both versions, though. My wife is still scared of it!

Looks dang good to me! I use a good bit of cornmeal on my prep board to make sure the pizza slides off onto the stone. Then when it’s done it’s rigid enough I just use a pair of tongs to pull it onto a drying rack

My first job was at Dominos. So I’m pretty much a pro.

lol…not! We never had to toss our dough (though my kick ■■■■■■■■ was really good at it). And we even had this thing we’d slide the pizzas under that would evenly spread and distribute the cheese for us haha :stuck_out_tongue: #EasyMode

I thought for sure Duncan made a version, but I couldn’t seem to find it.

Most corals are photosynthetic, but many of them also feed on a variety of foods. There are “small polyp” corals which mostly feed on very very tiny plankton/phytoplankton or absorb nutrients from the water column… then there are “large polyp” corals which will eat actual meaty foods. That GIF above is me dosing nutrients and amino acids into the water for corals to absorb. (Honestly, there’s still a lot of study going into this and it’s not clear exactly what foods/nutrients are needed by which corals.)

However, for large polyp corals, they definitely eat because they open up their mouths when you feed your fish. Here’s an example of a favia coral with its mouths and feeding tentacles open:

And here’s my fungia plate coral stuffing itself with small thawed mysis shrimps:

… and yes, I do have a lawnmower goby! He keeps the algae down and has the funniest personality.

Start rock climbing! You’ll live in the woods sometimes. Oh yes, nice axe too! (and your not too hipster unless you have a goat mug eh?)

Cut a catch box out for the slingshots. Just hang an old t-shirt behind your target to stop it blowing your box apart. I use a magnet on a stick to grab the ammo as it’s easier than fishing it out by hand. You can cut a tiny door in the corner and pour it out too.

Hey there! I crochet, too - haven’t picked it up in a while, but am proficient - could try to help if you’d like.

How does that even work?
