MB's Powder Thread! Come & see the power of powder!

My tracking says you’ll have mine to beauty-up by Tuesday.

Oh and could you please take a pic of the painted peak before you strip it? Sorry, I totally forgot to take one.

Powder coated wood ball…
Say WHAT!!

I wonder if PC’d kendamas already exist…

If not they very easily can.

YYR Triplet custom powdered for a forum member…
Better pics when sun is out.

I am that forum member. And thrilled with the results!

M1, I think this was done by you ::slight_smile:

The Triplet.
Oh my… It looks so glorious.

Are those translucent/sparkle ones more difficult or expensive? For me those are definitely the most amazing thing PC can offer over ano and where i think efforts should be focused. Just lovely.

Most of the time pearlescent or metallic colors are more money to purchase. Metallic flake can be added to just about anything. I’d say 90% of the time the cost is the same for the customer unless something custom has to be made up. The triplet used a color that I don’t carry in stock. The cost of the powder was split between the customer and myself. Around $7 extra on top of the total job cost. I try to provide as much of a choice as I can but I can’t stock every color.

I don’t think so.

YYR Triplet all finished up.

^Those look really nice!

Looks awesome. Can’t wait for it to get here.

Why not?

It feels like paint sort of, and it has your “chips” near the bearing seat…

That was done by yoyospirit.

Oh he is doing that? Cool!

Not for nothing but you really should just shut up. Don’t you ever get tired of sounding like an idiot?

I’d think he’d remember his work.
