I think YYF is being pretty smart about this. They have one impressive roster of players, and an equally impressive line of signature yo-yos to show for it. They consistently win all kinds of championships and are just generally well received in the yo-yoing community. YYF has collected some real talent.

I’m not familiar with the details of Jensen’s switch, and it’s really none of my business. The good news is that it most likely wont put a damper on CLWY’s awesome yo-yos, or how great a player Jensen is. Really, we’ll just have to see what comes of it.

I talked to Jensen at Cal States. It happened about two months ago and I asked him why.

“One dollar bills. Just kidding.”

Didn’t seem to talk about it much and he tried to avoid the subject. Also apparently he didn’t know people called his combo Wombo Combo.

I’m sorry for CLYW, but YYF can pay Jensen more, and when you are trying to earn a living in this sport, that takes priority IMO. It’s easy to say what a person should or should not do when you are not in their situation. Nobody has the right to judge, IMO. People feelings get hurt and they each view things from a different perspective. IMO nobody is the villain here, it’s business.

I’m sorry for CLYW, but YYF can pay Jensen more, and when you are trying to earn a living in this sport, that takes priority IMO. I am very excited for Jensen and this new opportunity for him. He will be able to tour the world, do demonstrations and compete all over the place on someone else’s dime. Currently we cannot afford to do such things nor am I interested in gearing up production to a mass amount and running giant marketing campaigns around the world.

I like to keep things simple, modest and fun.

Officially PNWR was the last contest for Jensen as a CLYW team member. I didn’t even know Jensen was competing at Cal States until his Grandpa told me yesterday at yoyo club. Nor did I know it was official until after the contest when Jensen emailed me.

I really wanted to announce this in a more professional way right after PNWR, so I apologize for this and all of the gossip that has occurred.

Jensen and I have always been friends first and I definitely do not have any hard feelings over this. I am sad that he is gone and will truly miss having him on the team, but it is part of life. Hopefully in the future we will continue to collaborate on art projects together. We have an incredibly talented team here at CLYW and this just gives us the opportunity to do more for our players.

Thank-you Jensen for all of your hard work and for doing such an amazing job representing CLYW over the last 2.5 years.

Didn’t catch that. But how you can loose much respect for JK because he went to YYF. Is there something wrong he did. Is there something I missed. All he did was get himself a better sponcership.
