I’m assuming it’s because the iPhone 4 uses beefier hardware than the iPod 4.

It seems that 6 is the last for ipod 4, which is fine w/me. Just wish they’d fix itunes so it quits freezing up. None of the updates have fixed it yet.
There’s no reason not to. It’s better.
Personally, I’d just wait for all the bugs to be worked out–this release seemed to be teeming with them. It seems the sensors are inconsistent now, based on my readings…
I use hundreds of different apps and I haven’t had any problems… But I respect that standpoint. I hate buggy software. But whenever people seem to have bugs with stuff, I don’t. I’ve never figured out why 
It runs like crap on my phone, I’m assuming it would be worse on an iPod 4.
