Super dope, Dave’s skilltoys is were I started picking up more modern yoyos (for the time) and the first forum I ever participated in, every time someone mentions Dave’s it brings back fond memories.
Hey everybody glad to be part of the YYE Forum!
Welcome to the forums! Glad that you’re here, hope you have an awesome experience here!
I’m a little late but hello hello everyone! I’m Brandon, I’ve been throwing on and off for about 11 years now, but have been aggressively learning new tricks in the past couple months after rediscovering my passion for the hobby. My personal goal is to spread the love for yo-yos and introduce as many people to the hobby as I can (so far been successful with ~12 people that have bought yo-yos and learned tricks). My other goal is to collect more colors of the Mowl Surveillance!
Outside of yo-yos, I work as a full time lab assistant, part time piano teacher and part time music producer. I love video games and have a questionably unhealthy relationship with coffee!
Im really happy to see that the yo-yo community is still so active, hi again!
Hello Brandon, welcome to the forum! What is your preferred style of play and what tricks were you working on?
Hi Marco, at the moment I’m only learning 1A (slacks, and speed combos), but have fiddled with 5A. Recently learned Vector, and currently working on Brandon Vu’s Slack trick
Hello Everyone!
My name is Wachirawit and have been yoyoing for 4-5 years with a few breaks in between and then stopped for 6 years and now am back again!
Hoping of taking it more serious this time and maybe compete in the future.
Welcome to forums!
Welcome to the forums! That personal goal is a pretty tough one. Which surveillance do you prefer, the old one or the new one?
Welcome to the forums! Glad that you have reinvigorated your interest in yoyos. That’s an awesome goal, we need to see more people here competing.
Thanks! Newer one for sure, feels faster and I’m biased because I like the numbers 7075 over 6061. Both are great but the the newer one also gives me less fatigue after long play sessions
me too… That is like a part of my history!
Hey there! I’ve been throwing since just before the pandemic. It’s been a rewarding and meditative hobby for me during this time. I had a Duncan imperial as a kid in the 90s so when my son brought a NED yoyo home from school one day I went down the rabbit hole. I now have become a collector and have some tricks up my sleeve. I’ve been mostly using andre’s vids on YYE, YouTube, and r/throwers to learn. I’m excited to be here! My all time favorite throw is the One Drop Par Avion. I’m currently trying to perfect yuuki slack (and other slack tricks). Happy to join this forum.
Welcome to the forums! Check out the YoTricks app as well so you can download the trick videos and learn anywhere!
