Hello,
My name is Rob. I am from Canada. I started yoyoing a few years ago now. I started out with YYF whips, and DV888. Moved to a YYF Replay, and the Delrin GS. Switched to 5a mostly, did like dealing with sting tension I guess.. But recently have been back at 1a. Starting to learn 2a. I also have a YYF Airwave 4a arriving this week.
For xmas this year I got a iYoyo Iceberg, and thst is currently my favorite yoyo.
Since joining this forum a couple weeks ago, I have learned so much great information.
Also started to add to my higher end yoyos collection.
I bought a Day tripper from DocPop + Zipline strings.
And on the BST I recently bought a Recess Snack, and a One Drop Halifax Saturday Market.
I am excited to at the high amount of knowledge and styles on here.
Have a nice day.

Hello I’m Clara. I had a yo-yo when I was a child and could do two or three tricks maybe. Now I’m pushing 60 and just bought a velocity. I have an m8 coming this week. I am looking for things to do while I’m traveling. When I retire I plan to travel the world with the backpack. I’m looking for fun things to do that are easy and lightweight to take with me and yoyoing seems perfect. And it’s fun. I also plan to do a little bit of Street performance/busking in areas where that’s permitted.

Welcome Clara!! That’s a nice plan, I hope you can accomplish that one. As Chris said, this is the right place. Greetings from Brazil.

Your plan sounds super fun! Make sure you bring extra strings/bearings/response pads!

Welcome to the forum’s clara! I love the idea. Might want to look into fixed axle yo-yos for less maintenance on your journey

Hey all! New here and recently into YoYoing after not having one since I was about 14, my last YoYo was a Duncan BumbleBee if anyone is interested (I remember being so stoked it had a ball bearing). Found out about YoYoExpert just through google searches trying to find learning resources as well as a solid vendor.

I’m a product manager at a loudspeaker manufacturer by day, dance music producer and party promoter by night, WoW nerd, mechanical keyboard enthusiast, and recently started throwing yoyos again.

I currently have a YoYo King Double Agent, and a Recess Snack (photo attached). Both of which are loaded with cleaned/lubed VIP bearings from ■■■■■■■■■■ and I’m really loving both of these yoyos at the moment. Next yoyo without a doubt will be either a Freehand AL, or Freehand ONE AL, the Unknown version in both cases (if available). Those 3 will scratch most itches for 1a; one a relatively wide v, one organic/semi-organic, and one small yoyo.

Stoked to be here, and looking forward to learning more about yoyo’s. Also if anyone plays wow, I’m on Sargeras-US Alliance.
