Hello my name is Joshua and I’ve always been interested in yo-yos but really got into them about 6 weeks ago. A friend recommended yoyoexpert and it’s where I’ve bought all my new yo-yos and learned most of the tricks I know. One of my favorite tricks is the matrix and I’m working on mastering spirit bomb. I own a yyf horizon, California, and a flight.

Welcome! The Matrix is always fun.

I remember when I first started learning spirit bomb. Took me about 10 days straight to actually get it consistent.

Hello everyone. My name is Clarence and I’m in the Orlando, FL area. I started yo-yoing in the early 90’s with a Duncan Glow Imperial. I’ve managed to stay slightly current, buying a new one every now and then. I never really got past the basics until I was bored being home on furlough. SInce then, I’ve improved quite a bit. Most of my collection is Duncan with a few other brands. Mostly into looping, I recently started learning 1A so I bought a responsive YoYoFactory Replay. Now if I can just consistently land on the string, I’ll be set.

Hey! So I just saw this, after making a few posts and commenting, but I wanted to come and introduce myself anyway.

My name is Jason and I’ve been a yoyoer since I was probably 5 or 6. I was raised on Duncan and Yomega and generally did looping tricks, because that was all i really knew of and I didn’t have an unresponsive yoyo as a kid, but yeah, every so often, I get super into yoyos again and then throw myself into it (I’m currently doing this; I think its for good this time, though).

My current goal is to become proficient and doing string tricks and also building a really cool collection.

Nice to meet you all! I hope to interact with y’all soon.

Hello,

My name is Christian

I started throwing during the craze in like ā€˜99.
Had the bumble bee and every person I knew that threw talked about the SBII.
Stopped throwing.
Then I met some people throwing unresponsive 888s.
After that I fell in love with the Hspin G&E.
Stopped again.
I just started back up, after seeing these amazing 66percent’s…so awesome!
So yeah, back in it for these little yo-yos!
Got a YF heist and the 66% edge

Rusty, so I’m reacquainting myself and brushing up on the slack tricks.

Hello, everyone!

A quick introduction… My name is Josh (my brother calls me Shwa) and I’m a late 40’s something that decided to pick up a yoyo. It was really a tool to help me put down the nicotine!. Its working but now I have a yoyo problem! about a year in and I’ve already gone from plastic to metal to bi-metal!

YoTricks has been my go to and has been really helpful. This is not an easy hobby. I watch some of you more experienced throwers and it just blows me away.

Looking forward to learning more and hopefully spreading the good news.

Welcome to the Forums. I just turned 54 last month and started for realz about 2 years ago and I too am amazed, no, astounded at the skill level of these youngins. I’m just pretty darned happy and excited that I am way better than I was 2 years ago. That’s all that matters to me.

Welcome! Glad that this hobby/addiction helped you kick that habit. It’s definitely not an easy hobby, but that’s part of what makes it worthwhile. Have fun and hope you stick around the forum.
