Hello, my name is GwanWoo Kim. Been throwing for like 4 years and my current favorite throw is galaxy diver 7075 version from C3. And I came here to get some new inspiration and update my collection a bit.
welcome to the forums @jingy2019
Hello my name is Joshua and Iāve always been interested in yo-yos but really got into them about 6 weeks ago. A friend recommended yoyoexpert and itās where Iāve bought all my new yo-yos and learned most of the tricks I know. One of my favorite tricks is the matrix and Iām working on mastering spirit bomb. I own a yyf horizon, California, and a flight.
Welcome! The Matrix is always fun.
I remember when I first started learning spirit bomb. Took me about 10 days straight to actually get it consistent.
Hi there!! Welcome to the forums!
Hello everyone. My name is Clarence and Iām in the Orlando, FL area. I started yo-yoing in the early 90ās with a Duncan Glow Imperial. Iāve managed to stay slightly current, buying a new one every now and then. I never really got past the basics until I was bored being home on furlough. SInce then, Iāve improved quite a bit. Most of my collection is Duncan with a few other brands. Mostly into looping, I recently started learning 1A so I bought a responsive YoYoFactory Replay. Now if I can just consistently land on the string, Iāll be set.
Welcome to the forums @clmayhew!
Hey! So I just saw this, after making a few posts and commenting, but I wanted to come and introduce myself anyway.
My name is Jason and Iāve been a yoyoer since I was probably 5 or 6. I was raised on Duncan and Yomega and generally did looping tricks, because that was all i really knew of and I didnāt have an unresponsive yoyo as a kid, but yeah, every so often, I get super into yoyos again and then throw myself into it (Iām currently doing this; I think its for good this time, though).
My current goal is to become proficient and doing string tricks and also building a really cool collection.
Nice to meet you all! I hope to interact with yāall soon.
Welcome! yeah practice makes perfect, glad you are back at it!
That is awesome, the process of making yourself better is always fun!
Hey! thanks! I wanna get involved in the community once lockdowns/pandemic things are doing being annoying. This community seems really nice.
Same I have always wanted to compete but I am very busy with college and playing a sport and I have other responsibilities too
i know that feel. good luck with IRL stuff. Hopefully you find time later.
Hello,
My name is Christian
I started throwing during the craze in like ā99.
Had the bumble bee and every person I knew that threw talked about the SBII.
Stopped throwing.
Then I met some people throwing unresponsive 888s.
After that I fell in love with the Hspin G&E.
Stopped again.
I just started back up, after seeing these amazing 66percentāsā¦so awesome!
So yeah, back in it for these little yo-yos!
Got a YF heist and the 66% edge
Rusty, so Iām reacquainting myself and brushing up on the slack tricks.
Welcome to the Forums! I love the Heist too.
Thanks
Iām having a lot of fun with the Heist!
Hello, everyone!
A quick introduction⦠My name is Josh (my brother calls me Shwa) and Iām a late 40ās something that decided to pick up a yoyo. It was really a tool to help me put down the nicotine!. Its working but now I have a yoyo problem! about a year in and Iāve already gone from plastic to metal to bi-metal!
YoTricks has been my go to and has been really helpful. This is not an easy hobby. I watch some of you more experienced throwers and it just blows me away.
Looking forward to learning more and hopefully spreading the good news.
Shwa
Welcome to the Forums. I just turned 54 last month and started for realz about 2 years ago and I too am amazed, no, astounded at the skill level of these youngins. Iām just pretty darned happy and excited that I am way better than I was 2 years ago. Thatās all that matters to me.
Welcome! Glad that this hobby/addiction helped you kick that habit. Itās definitely not an easy hobby, but thatās part of what makes it worthwhile. Have fun and hope you stick around the forum.
