I mentioned Chris because back in like 2013 I taught him how to do a suicide by posting a video to help him. Anyone know why I canāt find yoyoexpert on Tapatalk? It used to be on there.

Hello! Iām Bob and I used to play a board game called Go a lot back in college. Iām in Massachusetts and Iāve been throwing on and off for basically my whole life, but super casually. I got actually into throwing about six years ago when my wife got a crappy swag yo-yo from some work event. It reminded me of the 90s boom(I still have my Hyper Raider) and I wound up grabbing a Duncan Pulse at TRU soon after. Some quick Googling brought me here and showed me a whole new world. I was into it for a solid year and a half, before getting re-introduced to Gunpla and my throws spent a solid three years in a drawer in my desk while I put together model kits.
I recently started losing interest in model kits and āfoundā my drawer again. Iāve been at it for the last four months and having a lot of fun. I like modern unresponsive and fixed axle, with my Deep State(s) acting as a nice in-between. I definitely wouldnāt consider myself a great player, but I have fun. I donāt know anyone locally who throws, so Iām trying to force myself to contribute to the online community. Iāve lurked on this board for long enough, so I might as well register an account and actually say hi.

Hello from southern California! Iām 30 and just got back into throwing although I never really stopped entirely but at the end of my teenage years life threw some gnarly curve balls and I kinda stopped learning anything new and pretty soon lifeās responsibilities took priority, but his past year I made the decision to challenge myself to learn at least one new trick which turned out to be Ann Connollyās Gentrified which might be easy for most but I was super stoked to land it, then that was it I immediately started buying new throws from yoyo expert.
Iām not big into forums given that most nowadays consists of just disagreements and hurling insults, but I like what I see here and look forward to some interesting reads. If anyone remembers the now gone Daveās skilltoys site, that was the last time I was active in a forum just to give an idea.
I donāt consider myself to be that great, probably more of an intermediate level but Iām having a lot of fun learning new tricks. My goals for 2019 are pretty much to challenge myself to learn new tricks and exploring more roads I havenāt ridden yet on my Kawasaki 
. Wow this is waylonger than I meant time to cut it, peace!

A 2007 ZZR600, basically an older rebadged zx6r, pretty bare bones bike but I love it 
[EDIT] Just had to add although I ride a sport bike Iām not a sport bike snob, Iāve ridden cruisers and upright half faired bikes, I have love for all forms of motorcycle, I do not discriminate.

Ok so I guess introductions are in order hello everybody my name is Chris. Iām 37 I started throwing yoyos about 10 months ago, I am completely addicted, I started the old way, some people say the proper way idk, but I started with nothing but responsive yo-yos at first learned how to throw again cuz I did have a Duncan butterfly when I was like in 11th grade but that was like 1998 LOL anyway so I started with responsive playing and got the basics down and you know I guess I moved onto unresponsive maybe 3 months ago I can see why a lot of people skip the responsive and go right unresponsive because you know how many times Iāve cut myself from smacking the yoyo my face or almost knocking my teeth out flowing through my window or TV hahaha, other than that, Iāve been playing guitar for 22 years I was in for bands biggest accomplishment with that was playing the Trocadero in Philadelphia for a battle of the bands for WMMR and the winner was going to open for Coldplay Iām not a big fan of Coldplay on my fan of playing in front of 80,000 people but we didnāt even come close to winning good memories tho, it seems like everyone is very chill, respectful, Iām here to learn, communicate, trade secrets lol idk what else to say, thanks you for welcoming me in!!
