Introduce Yourself!

Whoa, how’d we get un-stickied?

Welcome! We’ve got a good sized club that meets in grapevine every second Saturday of the month and sometimes additional meetups throughout the DFW area. Next one is in Dallas on Oct. 31. If you’re interested, shoot me a pm with your info and I’ll get you the Details.

Hi, I’m Freakcaptain, names Fraser
Australian yoyo thrower and have been throwing for about 3 years now.
I went to my first contest a couple of months ago and learnt how great the yoyo community is.
My favourite throw ATM would be the OG Anglam Ver cc
My favourite type of tricks are body tricks and really showy stuff.
I really only play 1A but can play the basics of the other styles.
My style would be quite techy with slack but i’m trying to create showy tricks lately.

welcome to the forum… and this community really is the best…

Hi guys! I’m Jade (my friends call me Angel) and uhh i’m new here…obviously. I started using a yoyo late last year, and know Eiffel Tower, Jamaican Flag, Trapeze, Houdini Mount, Plastic Whip, and Double or Nothing. My yoyo’s are Duncan Freehand, Magic Yoyo T5 Overlord, Magic Yoyo T8 Shadow and a Magic Yoyo N11Splash (which should hopefully arrive in a few days)

Welcome! How can you call yourself “horrible” if you’re on advanced level tricks? Give yourself some credit. I wish you lived near me so you could teach me things because I qualify as horrible. Then again, I know more than a total beginner.

New to this forum but not new to yoyoing.
This is Eddy Dubell.
if you’re from the East Coast (of America), you’ve probably met me or seen me at competitions. I’ve been doing this for like… a decade. I stopped visiting forums when yoyonation closed and theyo got boring so it’s been a while on these things.
Mostly just joined to submit to that Battle of the Elders video competition, since i’m 30, but maybe i’ll post more.
Cheers!

Hi everyone,
My name is Omer and I am from Israel. My favorite yoyo is the Yoyofactory Horizon. I may be the second lefty yoyo player in my country. I am not so good in comparison to some other yoyo players in my country although I am getting better. I first met YoyoExpert in May when I wanted to buy the Horizon, but I didn’t and then I bought it later that year from them. Thank you all for the time.

Welcome Omer and Eddy! Good to have you with us. ;D

Yoyo collector tho

Hello, my name is Jordan, I’m a computer science major in college. Ive been throwing for a few years off and on, starting and restarting the yo-yo fad at my schools. Never got much farther than split-bottom mount tricks because I couldn’t land a trapeze more than once out of twenty five times. This go around I’m to the Houdini, kamikaze, and one and a half mounts.

he welcome to the forum… if you keep with youll more then likely get further then kamikaze with the new yye tutorials…

and its pretty cool that a computer major can find time to throw…

Way to go man!! Welcome to the forums and Can’t wait to hear more about your progress as time goes on.

Howdy!
I’m Philip, a highschool student, and a computer science nut too. I’ve always been able to do a basic throw on a responsive yoyo, but it’s just recently I’m picking it up and studying it more closely. I’ve got myself a nice 1A and 4A, so I’ve definitely got a lot of work and practice ahead of me!

welcome to the forum Jordan… glad you could join us…

two new computer techies… pretty interesting… i guess its time to revive the pc gaming thread…

Hi, I’m a guy who has just bought a yoyo, but I think I made a bad purchase. So I hope to find here, answers and clarifications to my doubts.

I speak English pretty well, but I’m not able to write, so I apologize if there are any error handling.

The teaching videos here are real good. Just start at the beginning and have fun! You will get it in no time.

I’m Anthony and I have been yoyoing for almost a year now. I really enjoy meeting all the people who are in the community. I’ve gotten pretty good at yoyoing and I’m going to my first competition in a few weeks.

Sounds like you are really progressing. Good luck at the tourney. And have fun.

Hi Everyone!

The names Mitch and I am a budding YoYoer. Been playing for a while now and have only just discovered this awesome site! I am in my last year of school in good ole Australia, hoping to start a bachelor of Jazz music next year. (I play the saxophone). Good times ahead!
