Introduce Yourself!

Hello my name is Logan i am from canada and I am 14 years old.
I’ve been yoyoing for only a month and a half so im still not that great but im getting better very slowly.
My favorite yoyo so far is the sage yoyo from yoyofactory although i do have a pair of YYJ unleashed on their way.
I found this site from just looking around and researching different thing about yoyoing.

Welcome Logan!

It sounds like your interested in 2A?

Yes 2A is my favorite style but i havent had the money to get a new yoyo but when i did I couldnt decide between the unleashed and loop 1080 in the end i went with the unleashed

Hello forums!

I’m a high school student and I’ve been yoyoing on and off for about half my life. I’m not bad at yoyoing but I’m not really that great either. I’ve always loved the culture here though.

Anyway, outside of yoyoing, I code java, HTML, lua and c++, play the viola, run cross country and love math.

Hey everyone. My names Evan. I’m 15 next month and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I Got my first yoyo 5 months ago. I love it. My fav yoyo atm is the werrd minute. (I own the fast 201, the WHiP, and the werrd minute) my favourite trick I know is ladder escape by yotricks
Some of my hobbies include art. Photography. Sport. Entomology. Archery and hiking.

Welcome! I just learned a bit about C++ in general the other day. I didn’t know you could run off an array (because it doesn’t actually have an end). So weird. All the memory management sounds like heck, too.

I just live in my JavaScript cocoon where all I have to worry about is easy memory leaks, the dangers of loose typing, and the persistent threat of “undefined” errors.

Welcome aboard!

I am Holy, from Kuyos’ Team Pre King. I am from China and have been living in Hawaii for 3 years. Nice too see all the yoyo players worldwide through this community!!

I looked at what I could of a Kuyos’ Team web site. I bet you are really good. Anyway welcome to Hawaii and welcome to the USA.

Hey, Im nick, I’m 100% new to this and my boss at work got me into it, so im trying something new! I tired his one drop benchmark V, smooth!

See, boss’s can be our friends too. Welcome! Best advice I can give is: take your time in learning and HAVE FUN.

Hi, have been yoyoing for a while now (even though I am not too great at it), but have only entered this forum as of today… I am looking forward to discussing the art of the yo-yo with you guys :)…

Hello! My names Juan, im a car enthusiast but ive always loved yo-yos. Got really into when I got a maverick last month. So far ive got a few beginner 1a tricks down like trapeze, double or nothing and the zipper. Hope to learn lots here, and cant wait to move up to an unresponsive yoyo.

Yes yo-yoing can be an art, but with practice you can become good at it. So, welcome and Have FUN!

Hi I’m Peggi. Senior in high school. Just started yoyoing so I kinda suck at it. Got into it after talking to some people about hobbies. I am a pen spinner and have been for about 3.5 years. College apps are busy right now so I probably can’t learn tricks until I finish

Welcome! Do not worry if you do not play well. Just take your time, stick to it, and most important: HAVE FUN!

Hello all

My name is Ivan. I am 22 and a senior Computer Engineering student. Ever since I was a kid, I was always amazed with the yoyo. I remember we had an assembly in our elementary school and the guy was doing some pretty neat tricks. After that, I bought some Glow in the Dark yoyo that had a picture of a tiger in it (if you guys know which yoyo that is, kudos for you because I don’t know). However, I don’t know what happened but I stopped. Now I am right back at it again and more into the hobby. Right now I have 2 Duncan Pro Z’s with MOD spacers and 1 Duncan Torque (Blue and currently my favorite  ). Also, I am trying to expand my collection because yoyos are awesome toys. I don’t know very many tricks as I am still learning (know some of the basics such as some picture tricks and side mount tricks and others). I am trying to learn the Matrix because I am trying to pull off a good string combination tricks. As you can tell I am a 1A guy haha.

A few other things about me:
-I live in southern California (specifically in the OC, near Downtown Disney). If there are any of you guys near that area let me know! I want to go to some meet up and just learn more.
-I like sports, I just don’t play that often and I don’t watch most of the time. However I would watch and play soccer when I can.
-Its been a few months since I have picked up my electric guitar. If you play and would like to jam to some good punk rock and just rock in general hit me up

I really won’t post much here to be honest (I mostly lurk) but feel free to hit me up for anything

Welcome!

Always happy to hear someone with a computer related interest.

Is computer engineering the only thing you are interested in computer wise?
