Introduce Yourself!

Hey! I’m new here, but so far it looks really cool! My name’s Landon and I’ve been into yoyos for about 6 months. My current throw is a Shutter, but I’m getting a CLYW AC2 Clareview Station really soon here (tomorrow)!

I suppose I did this in backwards order. I made a regular post before an introductory post.

I’m not very good with a yo-yo. I’m essentially bad. I have four yo-yos, and the only reason I have that many is because they came in a two pack.

I have two Duncan Imperials (just the basic ones).
I have a Duncan ProYo (which I honestly don’t like very much).
My last yo-yo is a Duncan Speed Beetle, which I’m thoroughly enjoying. I wish we had ball bearings when I was a kid. I look much better than I am to all my friends because of them.

Anyway, I’d like to say hello, and let you know I appreciate you having a forum here for folks like me to use and learn from.

Thanks for building it.

Hey you look super familiar…

(This may or may not be my “little” brother)

Welcome!

Hahahaha, don’t take it too seriously – yoyos are supposed to be fun!

Welcome! Keep posting and the forums will feel comfortable in no time. Really friendly community.

Welcome! Modern yoyos are indeed pretty awesome. You should see if there’s a local club near you and check out some of the modern aluminum yoyos that are around these days. They’ll blow your mind!

Thanks for the warm welcome.

I’m actually interested in seeing and trying other yo-yos, but I see from the member map that I am all of the fourth person in Denver on the site so…

I’m pretty social though. If there are meet ups, I’ll attend, but I don’t see much action in the Mile High City based on the map.

There’s a bunch of us in Denver and Boulder. Check out the Rocky Mountain YoYo Club and the BOCO YoYo Club on Facebook. Both are very active communities. Boulder just had its first contest last Saturday and it was awesome!

Also being from a time when there were only fixed axle yoyo’s I guess I know how you felt when you discovered the bearing.
Welcome!

You can’t trust the member map, people haven’t been able to add or change their pins for many months.

Welcome! Hopefully you’ll stick with it this time, it’s so fun once you start learning some cool tricks!

Hey There YoYoExpert! My name is Casey, I reside in Las vegas NV! I was heavy into yoyos awhile ago, when I was around the age of 10-12 (im now 26, yikes!) I am now a heavy duty technician, working on volvos and mack trucks. But I have always been interested in yoyos, But wow have tricks and yoyoers come a long way! I am a beginner by far, most challenging trick I can do is the brain twister… Its awesome to have found this place and see what new technology has come to yoyos, to learn new tricks, and meet new people. Hope you all have a great one and will be chatting up with everyone as much as I can!

At 26 you are still just a kid. I have been back at it for 4 years now and I am still basically a beginner. Welcome!

Hello everyone!
My name is Jacob and I was born in 1988. Aside from my military training in Fort Leonard Wood MO., I have always lived in GA. Married in 2009, my wife and I decided to merge our last names WRigHt + stEVeNs = Wrevhn (revin.) Cash Logistics is my trade and I have too many hobbies.
Yoyos have fascinated me since I was a little boy. I played from about 1992 to 2003. After an extended break, I just recently started back and I’m loving unresponsive play. I love to learn and create new tricks and combos. It’s a great stress relief and a fun way to express yourself.
I have a few favorite yoyos every week. I don’t really have any loyalty yet, but may lean towards Yoyojam and Onedrop for competition.

Welcome to the forums!
