Hi, my name is Richard. I just re-found my Tom Kuhn set in my garage from childhood. I used to play with Duncans all the time and my stepfather bought me the collectable 15-piece set at his store in San Francisco when I was around 10. Have always enjoyed it as a display/show off item, never played them because they were so nice. My favorite is the SB2.
Welcome to the forums.
Hopefully youāll love it as much as I do! =D

Hi guys, my name is Luke and I have been yoyoing for about six months now. I found out about YoYoExpert on Google because I needed some tutorials to teach me the basics. I have learned all of the tricks on the site, so I progressed to making my own combos. I really enjoy yoyoing and show off the skills at school whenever possible. I have a YouTube channel where I like to post videos of my tricks. Check it out if you have some time!
Welcome! to the forums.
Hey everyone, Iām Sandor from Hungary. Iāve started yoyoing 5 months ago at the age of 30 when I discovered modern yoyos on a local juggling webshop. After watching a couple of videos on yoyo championships, I realized that there is much more to this sport than the boring āup-and-downā game and I knew that I need to try this for myself. I instantly bought a YYF Velocity and I learned the basics by watching Andreās and Adam B.'s videos then I got stuck with the basics on the side-mount. Fortunately my resilience was strong enough that I invested into a Shutter and got through the initial hurdle of binding on the side mount, now Iām practicing cold fusion and gerbil as Iām progressing in the trick ladder. As a software engineer, itās nice to āzone outā by throwing a couple of tricks after a long dayās work. Fortunately my fiance tolerates my new hobby.
Iām amazed how vibrant the whole yoyo community is, and Iām happy that I found this forum.
Welcome! Many of the people on this forum learned to yoyo from Andreās tutorials. Itās a great resource!
Very cool! Iām a software engineer myself, and youāre right, thereās nothing better than throwing at the end of a long day. (Or as a short break in the middle of the day! I always have one on me) Love that Shutter!
Welcome to the forums!
Hello guys/gals Iām Darkslide, I used to be a part of Yoyonation.com. Since it closed down I stopped playing with yo-yos for awhile. I decided to get back into it and came across this forum so here I am. My favorite person to watch is Yuuki Spencer and Guy Wright. There are others I enjoy watching but these 2 what influenced me to get into playing with the yoyo. I own 2 throws they are both yoyo factory one is a Genesis and the other is a G5 Prison Break. I hope to order a new throw soon, really would like a One Drop CODE 2. Iām not very good at throwing yet but I am working at it, I donāt use responsive throws cause I find they are boring and rather take the challenging path. I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning new tricks.
Nice! Welcome back to yoyo-ing! You should check out some of Ed Haponikās stuff, makes fixed axle (responsive) play look anything but boring. =)
My 2014 Genesis comes soon! Looking forward to it, heard good things.
Welcome to the forums!
I will definitely check it out, thanks for the tip. The Genesis is my favorite wide throw, mine is an older model when they used to write the logo and model name on the outter rim. Iād like to get a newer one to see how theyāve changed it over the years.
Software developer (engineer would be pushing it, as Iām not literally an engineer) here as well! I throw throughout the day. Welcome to the forums, sandor!
(And everyone else who has joined lately!)
People are raving about the 2014 version. Iāll update with how it is. =)
I look forward to it, thanks.
