my name is Matt, i started yoyoing in august of 2008 so iām pretty new, but i plan on bein great. i started out with a mosqueto, then got a fireball. then i was introduced into the world of 1A and got a lyn fury, a few months later i got a legacy.
when iām not yoyoing, i spend my time writing books, programming games, playin others, and makin websites.
iām currently 16 and have gotten 1 other person into yoyoing. i get a lot of crap from other people about yoyoing, but iām still going to continue! i have made 2 tricks of my own (at least i think they are my own). thatās really all there is to say about me!

so I buy 2 pulses and 2 sqeeters and now Ive threw every day for the last three months and im addicted the mosqito was to lite so I bought 2 more and did a few mods and well ill talk about that later , then I found a duncan squarral and its been my latest addiction trying to master all the tricks i can and learn so I can do what andre does in the videos .( thank you andre without the videos I would have throw this hobby out the door ) now im addicted
My wife things im crazy and well I did a you tube for tricks and this plastic is cool this sqeeter is nice
but working in a machine shop theres no reason I cant find a nice metal YO somebody has to have one.
WOW holy SSHH theres a entire secret world ok yo yo ing and alot of people kids do not know it exists
so I watch all the videos I read almost everypost , OK I cant do the tricks cause this duncan is crap , ill splurge and buy a dark magic and a orange speedmaker for practice outside.
I cant wait for the dm to come , well it came and I still have alot to learn , my sleeper is so hard the YO screams like an airplane turbine , however theres no way im holding the sleeptime like the guys in the videos . I know clean n lube and practice and koncave
so thats where im at using the mosquito/squarral with the pads scraped off
throwing the plastic beater speedmaker around outside and practicing with the dark magic .
and well ill get into this later but I really think there both sorta crappy
SO i just ordered a grind machine and an M1 and next check ill probly get a few more .
M1 really seemed to be the popular all around good smaller yo and I cant wait to get it
and learn more from you guys .

Hi. My name is John. Iām a 14 year old Filipino here in the US of A
I just started to learn of the sport of yoyoing about a month or two ago; though I got hooked into yoyos after my friend brought a Diabolo(I believe theyāre like offstring yoyos, but larger and played with the string attached to two sticks) to school and started showing me tricks.
I canāt remember my first ever yoyo, but I know it was a āyoyo with a brainā. That was back when I was around 6-7 and I just knew how to throw it down and catch it. 
Then I got bored with it and stopped until about a month or two ago.
Currently I have a Duncan Speed Beetle, but Iāve recently found out that I need a better yoyo to get past the Intermediate tricks. Now Iām just waiting for my Dark Magic to pop-up in my mailbox. ;D
I hope to learn much from this forum and to contribute as much as I can.

Hi my name is Ahmed but you could call me Mike if you donāt wana bothor yourself spelling my name, Iām 14 years old and I yoyo 24/7, Althought Iām still an intermediate, My current YoYo is a Dark Magic and is working like a charm, best yoyo ever, My favourite tricks are boinging/whiping tricks, I found this on youtube, but Iām going to keep up, I practice EVERY day and night, luckly I got my Dark Magic at the start of the summer so Iām going to spend my whole vacation on it, My goal is to become a champion and join one of the teams, YoYoJam the most.
In my country, the yoyo community is pretty rare, I can never find somebody who yoyos.
I will be happy to make a future of myself in yoyoing, and would be happier to create a community.

Hi, I just stared yoyoing and am teaching my grandchildren. Thought this would be a great hobby both they and I could enjoy together. I have a Yomega Hyperwarp Wing. I gave my eldest grandchild my Duncan and the youngest a Walmart special. I ordered a Dark Magic and will pass the HWW down. I and the kids have been through the beginner section and now starting the intermediate. I really like the teaching techniques used in this site and will probably use this exclusively to keep learning. This has really been fun for the three of us. Keep up the work on this site. Are there any contests in the Tampa Florida area?
There arenāt any contests in Tampa as far as I know, but the World YoYo Contest is in Orlando!

still in Manila. I had to stop because it was kind of getting in the way of my school priorities.
A few days ago, I went to target to go look at some ish. While at the toy section, I saw a Duncan Pro Fire. I thought it would be fun to just get it and re-learn some of the tricks I used to do.
After Googling some yoyo websites, I passed by this very cool super delicious with icing on top site. I was like āOh cool, I can learn a lot of things with their demosā. Hahah. Anyways, this is a very cool website, I love the people in this community.
