Yea, YoYoNation people can often be quite mean. YOYOEXPERT EDIT:
Please refrain from referring specifically to other sites or products in a negative manner. Thanks!
Everybody hear is very helpful and nice, I really think you will like it here.
Hello all, my name is Beau and I have been a yo-yo addict for two plus years now. I have over collected and under practiced. So I have great yos with little knowledge of how to use them. I was excited to see the site.
That is what I like about the yo community- lots of support and for the most part very positive support.
My monicker comes from my teaching physics and loving yo’s. So I do not fit the typical stereotypical demographic…at least not the under twenty group anyway.
Hey this is Cory I was just recently introduced to yo-yoing and now i can barley put my yo-yo down my favorite yo-yo is the 888.My dad introduced me to this website I don’t know were he found it.
My name is Robert and I’m 18 years old. I’m from Vienna, Austria (not Australia xD) and I’m in the middle of my final exams =)
I’ve messed around with YoYo’s when i was at the age of 8. It got really boring with that old wooden YoYo I got from my dad. So I stopped it. About a week ago my little sister found a cheap transaxle YoYo lying at the street and well… Even if it was only able to sleep for around 6 sec. I was fascinated =) So I looked around on the internet to find some informations about cool tricks and such stuff and… yeah… That’s how i got here xD
After some research I bought a Hitman Hybrid and a Sunset Trajectory and I simply love them =)
One last thing:
Big thanks to André for the really helpful videos! They helped my getting started with “real” YoYo’s. And the best is: I know now how to bind my Hitman xD Wondered why it won’t come back up again after throwing it :
Cool to be here ;D
(Sorry for my english… I’m not really good at foreign languages)
Yo, I’m B-Rad. I’m known by this on a few other forums. I’m 17 livin’ out in OKC, OK. Boring as can be out here… I’ve been yoyoing for 5 years and a few weeks (started April 16th, 2004). Adam Brewster is the great man who got me into this great hobby. Saw him throwing some yoyos at my church (he was a youth leader) and I got hooked from then on. I’m sponsored by Big Brother Yoyos, and I’m actually The Brotherhood’s Team Captain. I’ll be representing BBYY for a LONG time. They’ve got the best yoyos out there for a great price. So yeah. That’s about all you really need to know about me…
So anyone out there from Oklahoma? If so we’ve got meets just about ever 2 months, and there is OK State Yoyo Contest on June 6th. Which of course I’m planning on WINNING! So if you come to compete, plan to get only 2nd. And I’m not just talking about the 1a Division… I’m taking 1st in the Open Division as well. Tech 4a, and some nice 5a gonna blow some minds (not really going to blow minds… just going to take 1st place hah).
I’m Kat, a for sure new kid in the whole yoyoing world. I have a ton of questions and I want to learn. Can’t wait to get better and start showing off! I got a bit of competition in my area. A hard core yoyo boy at my school. By the way, I’m from Fayetteville, AR. So, there isn’t a ton of push for yoyoing around here, but a friend got me into it and referred me to the site and such. :]]
First off my name is Aaron and I’m not necessarily new to the whole yoyo scene, but I am just recently getting into it as of 6 months ago. I am advancing quite fast and still going.
So far my 2 weapons of Choice are the YYJ Legacy and the 09 YYF 888. I seem to have a lot of favorite tricks up my sleeve right now. of them i’d like to say my 3 favs are Yuuki Slack, And Whut, and Kwijibo.
I look forward to chatting it up with most of you all.
uh… actually, I’m Indonesian… but I study in Singapore… and since I spend most of my time in Singapore, and the closest yoyo community to me is in Singapore, so I put it as my country… :-\
