Yo’s I own: Lyn Fury, Hitman, Superstar. Havn’t busted out the Hitman or Superstar yet cause I forgot to order some thin lube with them. I’ll just have to find a local store to buy some cause I’m not paying $6 for shipping a $5 item The next yo I’m buying is a dark magic. Then prolly either a CUT or 888, still not sure which yet.

I just started yo-ing today after, o I don’t know, an 8 year hiadus. My first ball bearing yo-yo became too unresponsive for a tug pull and I basically gave up winding that thing. I thought it was broke, lol, come to find out I just needed to do a “trick” to get it to come up.

I really appreciate all everyone does to make this web-site the huge help/hit that it is, especially André.

Thank you for taking the time to go through all the tricks in such detail. I landed a double or nothing on the very first throw after watching your video a few times through. Its amazing how you explain everything in words, along with the demonstration (do a bit of the trick, talk for a while and that thing is just spinning there, waiting (like a well trained dog) for you to continue, very impressive indeed).

My binding skills are horrible though, been practicing like literally all day, and still have streaks or 4-7 binds that do nothing. I just need to keep at it, althought its kinda frustrating to do a trick-then be unable to return the yo to my hand lol, o well, practice will surely fix my problems(hopefully :))

I got my DM 2 days ago though. ;D It is kicking my ■■■■■■ this point, but thats ok…its fun.

I’m Kristian, another norwegian yoyo’er. Not long time ago, Pheenix, my mate, brought a yoyo to school and after that I started yoyoing together with him. I remember my brother yoyoing, but I was too young to understand what the heck he was doing. Now im 15 years, getting 16 now, in may. I think im going to buy a superstar after my birthday. I can’t wait! Right now i got dark magic, speeder and dif-e internal turmoil yoyo. Some of my favourite yoyo’ers is Hiroyuki Suzuki, John Ando and Andre Boulay.
I love yoyoexpert and Andre Boulay, he is such a good trainer. I don’t know any more to tell, so I will put an end here. Thanks yoyoexpert and Andre for helping me out with yoyoing! Keep up the good work!

My name is Matt. I always loved yo-yos as a kid and as of just a couple of months ago I would have said I was a pretty good yo-yoer. I could get a 15 to 20 sec sleeper, go around the world multiple times, walk the dog, and rock the baby. Just how much more to yo-yoing could there be?

Then I saw Suzuki on youtube and eventually found this place. I feel like I’ve had a yo-yo awakening of some sort.

I quickly ordered a Throw Monkey and began my renewed journey into the world of yo-yoing. I love it and am completely addicted. I’ve even dreamed of yo-yos at night.

After working my way through the intermediate tricks and most of the counterweight, I decided it was time for an upgrade. I went with the Dark Magic. Now just a couple of months ago I would have been aghast at anyone spending $40 on a yo-yo plus extra string, lube, and etc. But my how things change. It was totally worth it and I completely understand why some people buy the $100+ yo-yos.

Well, I teach at a high school. I’ve been taking my yo-yos to school with me and doing a trick here and there. It’s caught on. There are now yo-yos all over the school. We’re actually talking about starting a yo-yo club at school next year.

Our ability to do this I would say is about 95% because of this website. Without the step by step instructions we get here,… I don’t think any of this would have happened. We’d still just be walking the dog.

So I’d like to give a huge thanks to all those who make this site happen.
