Welcome! James
hey there, I’m Mason. I’m somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I’ve got a standard Duncan butterfly yoyo and a Yoyo King spin control NR. I don’t really have a favorite trick yet, but I like boingy-boing whenever I can get it to do right. I got to a point where the butterfly wouldn’t stay spinning long enough for me to do the tricks I wanted to do. It would always stall out on me so I got the spin control and it is magnificent. Just one problem, I can’t get it to come back no matter what bind I use. I’ll post a new thread somewhere about that, but if you see this and think you can help send me a PM.
Welcome! Mason have you tried watch the bind tutorial in the learn section?
Good evening guys and gals,
About 15 years ago I got my first yoyo which was a Yomega Fireball. I was about 13 years old at the time. I played with it all the time but as I got older, I got involved in other hobbies. This past Christmas I was shopping for some of my family members and ran across a Yomega Fireball in a novelty shop in the mall. It immediately brought back some child hood memories so I picked one up. Played with it for a few days and the obsession started. lol. I was hooked again. A little over a month later and now I have 6 yoyos and play for about 30 minutes a day. I love it!!
My current collection:
Yomega Fireball
Yomega Brain
Yomega Nebula
Yomega Raider
Yomega Maverick

Welcome!
Hello, I am Jr. Mouse. I live in Area 51 and was born in 5 A.D. I enjoy yoyoing very much and have made about 5,000,000,000 tricks that nobody knows about ( :D). Well, that sums me up.
Welcome

Welcome, guylain!
I’m not sure about Quebec City, but if you ever want to make the long drive, there are regular meet-ups in Montreal where you can hang with other yoyoers. Mostly young adults, but they made an old guy like me (40) feel right at home, too. I’m from Ottawa, but even though I’m pretty close I still haven’t made it back for another meet-up.
Hi, NnjaChckn here, I am over 1700 years old. And still young!! I have been yoyoing since I was only a wee baby and my favorite trick is trimming the string. I use my ultimate yoyo skill for fighting crime and protecting fellow chickens from the Chick-Fil-A cows.
Welcome fellow chicken …er dude… can we be friends?
How long have you been yoyoing… you know… In Real Life?
Hey everyone, second post here.
I’ve been yoyoing since 1996. Recently inherited a pretty large yoyo collection from a friend (dating back to the first duncan’s!), which got me back into it.
Just found this site the other day, and already looking to add some of these “modern” yoyo’s to my collection.
Some great stuff I’ve found already on this site.
Welcome!
Hello my name is Bremer, very young but eager to learn from the eXperts! Right now I have a orange Duncan imperial that my brother gave me! I really want to get a A1 yoyo or a FAST 201! I don’t know any tricks so far right now, but I sure hope to learn some on this site!
Hey everyone I’m Sam. Raised in Newport RI. I started yo-yoing when my best friend won a fireball pack from Radio Disney when we were freshmen in high school. He gave it to me. The next summer I went to London with my mom for a week. While she was taking classes all day I would walk around London throwing sleepers and picture tricks. When I got back to the states I tried getting better but I couldn’t which I thought was my own fault. Not that I needed to upgrade my yo-yo. Years pass I pick up the yo-yo once in a while. This last summer the roommate finds my old fireballs and I show him the tricks I know. He goes out and buys a Duncan freehand zero and mosquito. I realize my skills weren’t stopped because of me but the yo-yo I was using. I got a ONE. Lost it(still hoping to find it). Now I’m using the ONE STAR and Speedaholic. Working on the slacks now Ninja Vanish, Jade Whip, and Iron Whip. For the most part I’ve been using yotricks but I’ve noticed they don’t have all the tricks so I have been watching other how to videos also. The throwers over at Reddit - Dive into anything are also great. Thank you and happy throwing.
Welcome Bremer
Welcome Sam
