Introduce Yourself!

Yup!

Name is Stan 24 use to yoyo back when I was young stopped for a good 5 years just started up again far out of the loop nowadays. Forgot how fun it was now trying to get back into it. Favorite yoyo is the freehand . But just picked up a legacy 3. Excited to learn some new stuff!!

Welcome, Stan! Take a look around the site. There’s lots of people to show you new tricks and share their opinions on yoyos and throwing styles. Hope you have fun.

Hey all! My name is Lane and i really just picked up yo-yos again. I was into it for a little while a couple years ago but my mom actually sold all of my Throws without telling me and then I just never got more. While cleaning my room last week and going through my “junk drawers” I actually found one of my old ones she apparently didnt find: a Duncan Butterfly, which reignited my spark for throwing. I have spent the last week trying to perfect my throw
And sleeper, and now im here. I am into many other thigs so some of you might know me as Landog22 from other sites. HI!!

Welcome! good luck getting that perfect sleeper I had a lot of trouble with that when I first started

Hello my neme’s Gian Luca , I’m Italian

Welcome!

Hi, I am Arthur Coleman Hatfield, Jr, and presently live in Lexington, South Carolina and my roots are in West Virginia. Am an old yoyoer from way bag. Still love the old wooden yoyos.
I am 74 years of age. Collect Duncan and Cheerio yoyos.
My first introduction was the Filipinos who would come around and demonstrate them.

Welcome!

Hey all, I’m Matt, fairly new to this whole word of “yo-yos” and “yo-yoing”. I would love to start learning proficiently and would accept any tips or tricks any of you have to offer! Currently working with a YYF Shutter :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks again.

Welcome to YYE! A fairly active member of the community (moreso Facebook than the forums) is Glenn Godsey. There was a great interview/mini-documentary with him last year worth checking out. I believe he talks about the Filipino demonstrators for a while:

Glenn isn’t too hard to find! I wonder what his set of old Duncans looks like.

Welcome! its always good to see new people joining the forums

Hello my name is colton I have been yoyoing for about three months now but all I have
To play with is a dollar tree yoyo and don’t have any good yoyos so if anyone is reading this I really need a good yoyo. :-\

People are definetely reading that- if you’re looking for a yoyo, just go to the shop section of this website, and shop! If you’re looking for what yoyo you should get, make a thread about it and ask. Include your price range and things that need to be in throw that you’re gunna buy. If you want to take the bst route, go to the buy/sell/trade section of the forumns and look around. There are alot of good deals on there!

Welcome to the forumns!
