Introduce Yourself!

Hello, my name is Kevin Rose. I am from St. Petersburg Florida and started yoyoing around the end of last summer. My grandmother is moving and had some extra stuff including a yoyo. It was pink with no identifying marks and had a fixed axle. I soon got into yoyoing and brought the yoyo to school on the first day. several of my friends have started and we like to call ourselves the “Yoyo Cult.” I recently got the metal drifter to learn 5a and now i can do the 5a double trapeze (still rough with the dismount though) you can follow me on instagram if you want at @kevcrose. I may post some videos soon once i get a new bearing because my old one fell out while i was replacing the string, and i lost it.

Welcome!

Good Luck getting that Double trapeze down

Hello. My name is Andrew Jeon and I have been yo yoing for about 3 years now.I currently have a dark magic 2 toxic frog edition and my favorite trick is gondola. I enjoy yo yoing a lot and it helps me reduce my stress. The yoyo I really want right now is the onedrop cascade. I think that it is the best yoyo in the WORLD!!

Welcome To the Forums!

And yes the one drop cascade is a great choice for advanced play. Its a little bit floaty at first (which I kinda like about it) but if you dont like floaty throws you can always put in some heavier side effects

Good Luck!

Welcome x2!

Cascade has a TON of positive reviews. You would be happy

Welcome!

The seveer and the rally are both really good plastic throws

Hello,

My name is Bobby, I am 30 years old, and hail from Central Alabama. I started throwing in the 8th grade; stopped about a year later. I picked up a Yomega Fireball at Toys R Us last Christmas. I later discovered YoTricks.com and their YouTube Channel and have been hard at it since. My favorite style of play is 1A. My current favorite throw is a Yomega Dash with a concave bearing. I have a plaid Glide and some Protostars I am saving for Christmas.

I enjoy slack tricks and green triangles most of all. Brent Stole is probably my current favorite trick. I also like overhand 4A whips, 5A butterfly, and 2A looping.

Welcome!

Hi. I am Zach, and I have been throwing quietly for about a year, and Decided to get some networking so that I can get a good start in yoyoing. My current favorite throw is My supernova, with a Dif-e-yo Koncave bearing in it. I Don’t know many tricks, but My current favorite is a combo, kwyjibo, and then a Yuuki slack. I also Know peter fash, augie fash’s brother if that counts for anything.

Hi! I’m glad to be here. I’m pretty much a beginner who knows a little bit. I used to have a couple Yomega Brain knock-offs back in middle school, which taught me how to sleep, walk-the-dog, around the world and inside loop, the basic stuff.

Seeing my little cousins with their fancy adjustable string-trick yoyos made me want to get back into it and learn some more stuff. Current yoyos that I own are an old warped Duncan Butterfly that doesn’t work so well, and a Fast Eddie Shooter that I got for $1.80 at Family Dollar (it was the least defective out of four that I bought and returned :\ ) as a placeholder until I can upgrade to a better quality looper (which is what I’m really most interested in) that can also do some basic string tricks.

They also had one called the Fast Eddy Looper… trying to decide which is a better looper, the shooter or the looper. Searching around here I found a couple posts praising the Shooter, and one post that mentioned someone using the Looper, so… I like how fast the Shooter is compared to the Looper (which I returned due to the sides being loose on the axle).

So yeah…

Welcome!!

Welcome, I’m glad to see some old school players from the looping days.
