Hey guys my name is Sam Groner I’m just getting back into the community. I used to be really active but fell back when school picked up the past few years. Used to compete a lot (think my state title still holds since there hasn’t been a contest since then) and was sponsored by Big Brother, but that was long ago. Anyways hope everyones doing well and it looks like the sport is growing a lot so that’s awesome. Good to be back.
Great to hear you’ve returned. I personally didn’t know you back then, but I’m excited if anyone gets into/back into the sport! And the name “slackmahine” certainly sounds worthy of holding a state title :D. Congrats
Hello, Im Nando from Spain, Lanzarote Island (canary Islands)
Sorry for my bad english, juas!
My first contact with a yoyo since I was a Little kid was yesterday.
The day before yesterday I saw a tutorial made by a girl, and I love it! I went ywsterday to the toys shop and I get a yomega fireball and power brain xp, there was the only yoyos on the whole island. Today I start with the fireball.
I hope to learn good mooves and good perdormance, I like very much. Im looking to buy a metallic yoyo.
Thank you all guys members of the forum!! The info you post here is amazing!
Regards!!!

Happy to have you aboard! It’s really cool you found your way back to yoyoing. Hope you progress easily. And remember the golden rule of the forum:
Don’t be afraid to post this place is awesome!
And though the golden rule is more likely don’t swear, that’s a good guideline
Bienvenido, Fernando!
Your English is fine! And if you get absolutely desperate for some information and communication is failing you, I bet you could find some Spanish speakers to have private conversations with. Hablo un poco, pero no creo que podia ayudar con yoyo.
Jajajaja!! you are awedome Legyoyo gregp!!
Thank you for your welcome!! Im going to do my best to contribute on the forum.
Gregp, your spanish is very good!!! Jajaj, keep working on.
2 days after using the yomega yoyos an I have to say that I dont like very much.
I dont know why but the yoyo once is sleeping it never comes back, I think is because the gap for the string is so big.
Im looking this page (fasttech) and they have very nice yoyos, did you guys know something about fasttech yoyos?
Thank you very much!!!
Regards!!

Hey guys, I’m Bryn.
I’ve been out of the scene for quite a while now, but have recently had the urge to unpack some of my yoyos from storage and start messing around again. It’s great to see so many new names; maybe some old ones remember me. I’ll be around, so I’ll see you guys later. Thanks.
I am jason and yoyoing is my life
My name is Tommy Gun. I used to yo-yo a ton, then not very much, but lately I’ve been working on a new video and have been learning new tricks.
Hello, I’m BaconWarrior, or BW, BWarrior, and That-Annoying-As-@!?$-Kid for short. Eh… got into yoyos about a month ago, so I totally suck (I still love it though. Can’t be great in a month, right?). All my friends IRL are too lazy to try it, so I came here! I just hope that I’ll get some advice, tips, and all that good stuff here.
Greetings all !!!
Looking to get into yoyoing. I had a few as a kid (many years ago). Not sure where to start though. I’m looking at a YYF WHiP or One. Or should i start with a different style, like a Duncan Bumblebee? Maybe you recommend something else. I would like to learn both styles of string and looping. I remember the basics, just rusty im sure.
I look forward to learning about how yoy’s have changed in 30yrs, yes I am not a young guy! But it still looks like fun.
They call me GospelChef

Hello, I’m Kitzeus…I just start playing yoyo…I still study in Uneversity of East London…I like yoyo genesis but i’m using one star to learn basic trick…I know this website because of my friends suggest me to learn more advance tricks at here…
Hi, and welcome here! Are you a Malaysian too? Nice to see another Malaysian here . You will surely be able to expand your arsenal of tricks here.
What’s your budget? If you get nice paychecks, I recommend the YoYoJam Dark Magic II STARTER PACK for string tricks, it comes with a response bearing for beginner play and an unresponsive bearing for when you become more advanced. The starter pack also comes with 5 extra polyester strings, thin lube for bearings, and a trick DVD.
As for looping, I recommend the YoYoJam Unleashed. It’s a great looper and has an adjustable gap to fit your prefered amount of response. You’ll probably want to get some YoYoJam thick lube to go with it too, you’ll find you’ll need it pretty often when looping.
You’ll probably want some spare strings with your order too. I recommend a 25 pack of polyester YoYoExpert strings for your Dark Magic and a 25 pack of slick 6(polyester/cotton blend) YoYoExpert strings for your Unleashed.
If you’re tight on cash you’ll probably want to just start with 1 style first. If you want to start with string tricks, the YoYoFactory ONE along with a 25 pack of polyester YoYoExpert strings to go along with it is great. The ONE comes with a response and unresponsive bearing like the Dark Magic II.
If you want to start with looping, I recommend the Loop 360 with a 25 pack of slick 6 YoYoExpert strings and a bottle of YoYoFactory thick lube is a great choice.
Good luck on your journey in YoYo!
Hello Everyone!
My name is Kelsey and I am brand new to the Yoyo community! I just started yoyo-ing yesterday at the last CYYC meeting and I am in love with yoyos already! My Boyfriend gave me his Token and I’m still learning. I look forward to taking part in the community! I usually enjoy playing my mandolin and pokemon black when I’m not working. I am also very crafty and I’m really into DIY stuff. I started a youtube channel a few years ago but I am very bad with keeping with it (procrastination may be the culprit). I really look forward to meeting you guys and learning as much as I can! ;D
Welcome! It was nice meeting you yesterday!
You too!
You too!
You too!
Haha I wish… I wish.
Greetings everyone! Sorry I wasn’t on here sooner to greet you! But I’m here now so:
Welcome aboard the forum! It’s a super blast here and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! And don’t fear just jumping in there if you have the courage
