Hi I’m new to yoyos. I played a little when I was a kid but basically I’m brand new. I was in a hobby store a couple of days ago and saw a couple of Duncan yoyos and decided to pick them up. I’m kind of a nut in that way, I like to try new things just for the challenge. I took up Golf once just to try and get good and eventually had a handicap of 8 then I moved on to something different. Costs too much for me
Hi all,
My name is Nate and iLife is Melbourne Victoria. Currently I am not so good at yoyoing but am still trying. I enjoy. Yoyoing and is currently learning off youtube. It will be great is anyone around my area can meet up or even for me to join a community here (if there is one). I hope I can learn a lot from this forum.
i am a young, 12 year old yo-yoer. I am right now at the intermediate level and a few tricks away from advanced. I started about 2 weeks ago with a yoyo i got from td bank. i figured out some looping tricks and then tried out the butterfly shaped yo-yos. My favorite yoyo is the maverick or Dm2(Dark Magic 2). My motto is that even though the yoyo is seen as a toy by many people, it is much more than that.
Hi , my name is Hải , i’m from Viet Nam , i’m starting with yoyo when i was 7 years old , and it spinning with my life untill now :)) , it rock my world
I’m Oliver. The only trick that I learned was walk the dog which I think the simplest yoyo trick. Yet, I like to learn other trick.
Hey this is Todd from Las Vegas. I bought my first real yo yo in Singapore from the Cold Fusion Yo yo team. I saw them performing in a huge mall. That was like 11 years ago. I now am going to upgrade from a Cold Fusion to a 888. I also just found out about OFFSTRING… !! totally stoked on that. Is there a forum just for offstring? I ordered the YoyoJam ReXtreme Yoyo for Off string. I can’t wait to learn how to catch the yoyo… I have a Diablo, so I kind of get the concept. I’m sure it looks easier than it is…lol
anyhow, this is a great site and love the videos…

Hi I’m Kim ( girl ),
I’ve been yoyoing since i was 4. I love learning new tricks, especially on expert village.
I have 7 yoyo’s. My favorite one is the N5 desperado. I really want the Dark Magic 2, but I’m still deciding if it’s worth it. Some of my favorite tricks are Double or Nothing, Bow tie, Brain twister, Cold fusion, and more. I look forward to learn more tricks and become a better yoyoer.

Hey all, I am Mario. Nitroclad is my online name referring to vintage guitar finishes.
I won a few yo-yo contests in New Mexico probably 30+ years ago with Imperials and Butterflys. Over the years I still throw and do a couple of tricks but nothing fancy. Over the years I collected yo-yo’s that broke the world sleep records. Pro-Yo, YYJ DJ, Mega Spinfactors, Cold Fusion, Samurai and so on. Anyway I was poking around to update the collection with a Buddha King 2 and CTH when I found this forum.
I’ll be checking the BST board for an Anti-yo SLCK YWET - love the nickel finish (guitar parts and strings) and the shape reminds me of the good old days.
Speaking of the old days, not sure when it happened but I recently realized that a yoyo that doesn’t return is still a yoyo but considered non-responsive and sleep time records are set with the yoyo sideways instead of hanging by the string…
Hello every one, My name is Sheng. I have idea to start a new yoyo company named Vosun Yoyo. Still many many things to do. If you have any idea to make a legend yoyo, share with me. Of cause if your idea is done, I’ll be glad to share you some yoyo gifts with your idea or design.
These years, I test huandred of yoyos. If you have new yoyo, also share with me. For the idea of new yoyos, we love cool design shape and cool logo, cool color box, cool poster and many more…
Once more if you got any cool idea share with me!!!
Hey all, I basically just started this new obsession about a month ago. I had a Duncan butterfly as a kid, and I loved it although I couldn’t do anything with it other than throw up and down. After buying a couple cheap yoyos for my nephew and neice, I decided I wanted one again, too. I bought a Duncan Imperial, and once again could mostly just get it to go up and down, but I thought it was fun to use to relax at work. After some research, I decided to try a “real” yoyo, and found a YYF Velocity at a Toys R Us. I was flat out amazed at what it could do and how much better it was. Within a few hours I (roughly) learned walk the dog, forward pass, and around the world. I’ve been throwing at least an hour a day since (sometimes much more), and I’m hooked. Since I like to walk and throw, I wanted to try looping a shot, I’ve spent the most time on that. I picked up a YYF Loop 360, then a Pulse, and just got an Ann Connoly edition Whip and a Loop 808. I plan on doing a review on the Loops soon.
I’ve really got to commend YoYoFactory and Yoyo Expert for really providing the resources for beginners. I’ve knocked out all the beginner tricks and am well into the Intermediate, with some skips into the looping section. My wife thinks I’m a dork, but my daughter seems to love it. My wife finally was a little impressed when I showed her a brain twister. I’d like to give 2A a shot, but I’m focusing on one at a time to master the basics. I managed to get 46 consecutive inside loops with my Loop 360.

Hello there yo-yoing community. I’m Simon, a 15 year old boy who has been yo-yoing since about 6 grade. I haven’t really regularly used a yo-yo recently, but I hope to get back in to this amazing hobby. My favorite yo-yo that I’ve used is the Grind Machine and my favorite trick is Pop-N-Fresh. I hope to get to know the rest of the community better.
Hey guys (and girls??)… Started yoing in 7th grade… Instantly became a legend in my home town… Not really spectacular but pretty good I think… Cooled off for a couple years but bought a YYJ in the summer following my senior year of high school and learned a few new tricks… Haven’t been yoing consistently since sophomore year college… About 8 years ago… But now I wanna get back into it…
