Im Jake a high school kid that likes to spend his spare time getting string burns and knots. I’ve been throwing for 2 years now and go to nationals every year and fall more and more in love with yoyoing every day.
I’m Chris, I am a 13 year old junior in high school, been to yoyoing for 5 weeks, currently on expert level tricks and has learned hour glass, spirit bomb, and laceration lacerations a dv888, shaqlerstar, and a classic, looking for new yoyo.
Yeah. I thought someone who was 3 or 4 years ahead in school would have slightly better grammar too. Also, spirit bomb and hourglass are rather ahead of the curve for only 5 weeks (not that there aren’t people that learn that fast).
I think we may be being trolled…
Hi guys, just back into throwing after about 15 years away. Stumbled upon an old spin tastings tornado from around 98,99 or so. Had no idea I still had any throws. I was moving and found it in back of drawer I hardly ever go in. Needless to say it sparked my interest again. Shocked to see ow far it’s one. With the binding and unresponsive throws today. Not to mention the prices, lol. Well just saying hi. Gonna read and study and grab a few new throws soon. Take care.
On Saturday we were in a very cool Juggling-and-such-Things-Store. There as he saw one my 6 years old wanted a YoYo. He did not bother with the fact that it might take pretty much time to master a YoYo, so we left the store with two Henrys “Lizard”.
Now it’s me with nearly 50 years that swings a YoYo around the living room (and sometimes against my head…)
But you know, men stay children for a long time (sometimes forever), so I’m pretty happy that I have a new toy - it’s amazing!
Oh, btw: thanks a LOT for the makers of this site, I go through the learning vids now - it’s so good explained everything and I had no chance without them.
I suppose I’ll explain how I found you. Yesterday (June 23rd), my girlfriend and I were at the Mall of America and we noticed that the Midwest Regional Championships were going on. We stayed and watched the first two contestants and were kind of intrigued. We entered Games By James and I mentioned that they had Yoyos. Well, Upon arriving home that night, I checked out a couple videos on Youtube and then I stumbled upon this forum. Shortly after, I ordered a yoyo (Duncan Profly.) At which point I mentioned that to my girlfriend and she informed me that she was looking into yoyos as well. She was ordering a YYF Whip (we now know it’s unresponsive.) Well, today at work I was too excited to wait for mine to arrive in the mail so I went back to the Mall of America and purchased a Yomega Fireball. At this point, we are practicing gravity pulls. We’re both incredibly eager to get started on learning tricks.
My other hobbies include retro gaming and cubing.
I’ll get my girlfriend to register here soon, I’m sure she’ll introduce herself soon as well.
One question though, for the gravity pull, does it eventually become second nature to the point where you can’t even remember the last time you failed it?
Heya, I will be Edward i seemed to be hunting as a result of the mail and also the earth yoyo competition jumped in place as well as bam i discover the home asking inquiries reliving seven in the past once the raider seemed to be supposed to be the revolutionary the next thing and from now on i recently recieved the lyn fury having a dorothy displaying… presently my personal favorite really needs to be darkish secret i havent played with one particular yet but its similar to looking at vehicles. com as well as recognizing the way stinking hott. which automobile is actually high class, is actually what exactly i assess towards darkish secret. Hmm what exactly exposed to this page seemed to be actually a mishap hunting on yahoo and Google. along with a website acquired this particular hyperlink as well as ban i’m the following yoyo skilled. wonderful favorite tip may be the white Buddha can i take action not any but its awful beneficial.
Hi, I’ve just recently gotten into serious yo-yoing, in fact it only happened by accident, until early this year the only yoyos I knew were basic fixed axle 2A yo-yos and when the sting broke on an old limited edition Coke-a-Cola yoyo I thought I’d just get a new yoyo rather than doing any more damage to that. I couldn’t even sleep it I’d just throw it now and then to occupy my hands and relive some stress.
In March I finally found a yoyo (a Henry’s Lizard, at OZ Comic Con) I was caught completely off guard when as soon as I threw it it was sleeping… to my amazement as soon as I got home I started looking for trick videos and found the ones André has here, within days I was learning tricks and all sorts of other yoyo stuff, apparently yoyos have ball bearings in them now and eventually I outgrew the Lizard even after swapping the transaxle for a Baring, so now I have a DM2 which I just put the full spec Speed Bearing in this week to start playing unresponsive, I even cleaned it, and next month I’ll be getting my first all metal throw, the new Werrd Eighty-Six 400, and because I’m in Adelaide I figured I’d go pick it up in person
Not bad for someone who’s not even been playing for 3 Months yet I’m looking foreword to interacting with everyone, 'cause no one I know IRL yo-yos
Welcome, PAPO! I know of one other yoyoer, because I introduced him to it. There aren’t many of us here in Ottawa. If I’m lucky, I might be able to meet up with some of the Montreal crew soon.
HI! my name is… Wait…Actually just call me Jad.
My favorite yoyo is currently the protostar… Although it is the only unresponsive yoyo I have ever used.
I live in Alberta (not getting any more specific than that) and my favorite yoyo trick (as of now) is matrix and eli hops. Ummm yeah…
Hi everyone! I just picked up yoyoing again a couple weeks ago when a guy I work with brought a few of his throws to work. I hadn’t played since I was in 5th grade, but I immediately remembered how fun it was and ran out to the local toys r us and bought a raider and a freakhand to get going. Now, I’m already looking longingly at all the metal throws… ;D
I’m hoping this will be a good hobby that I can do at home while my daughter (and wife lol) nap, as most of my other hobbies require me to head to a gym or the woods. I look forward to learning a lot from you guys!
Hey there. My name is Joe and I’m just a college student with a love for odd hobbies like yoyoing and bowling. My friends have said I’m a master of useless things. Either way they are a lot of fun. I’ve actually been yoyoing on and off for the past 10 months. I started on a DM2 and moved up to a YYF Genesis+ Miggy2 edition around last Christmas. Been loving it ever since. Favorite trick would have to be either Kwijibo or Spirit Bomb right now. I should’ve made an account for the forums earlier but oh well. I learned about this site because I was watching Andre’s videos on YouTube.
Hi, my names Thomas. im an extremely young yoyoer and I am new to advanced yoyoing, I’ve mastered nearly all basic and intermediate tricks. Now I just need an amazing throw to replace my dv888 which has bore every battle scar I hav given it :-. But, I’m very enthusiastic to see what my yoyo related future holds especially that I will soon be getting a puffin, any recommendations on color?
Hi everybody. I started yoyoing yesterday, so I’m still pretty much a complete beginner. I only have a YYF Velocity yoyo, which i got last summer, but never actually started learning tricks on till now. I would like to learn 1a and 5a styles, maybe 4a too, but I’m pretty uncoordinated and will probably break everything around me if i try offstring xD . I found yoyoexpert by looking online for beginner trick tutorials. besides yoyoing, i also pen spin.
I’ve been yoyoing for a year. I’m friends with BCMaddog. Irl. Yoyoexpert please understand I’m just friends with him how do we have the same Ip… Anyways fave yoyo is Yuuksta my new fave trick is my own. Thanks for taking your time to read this. Bye!
