Welcome! Be careful, this yoyo thing is a slippery slope. I was where you are a month ago (ordering a Dark Magic II); fast forward a month and I have a Legacy, an Avalanche, a Cascade and a Supernova, and I’m seriously contemplating an Arctic Circle and a Chief. It’s been an awesome ride, but not a cheap one.
Hello. I’m not going to say my name for obvious reasons, but I love play with my raptor. I’ve been yo-yoing for about 7 months, but still am not very good. My favorite tricks are: Budha’s Revenge, Boing-e-Boing, and Plastic Whip. I’m planning to get a Genesis as my next yoyo. When I’m not playing with my yoyo, I love playing soccer, tennis, and going online. I also love watching horror movies.
Welcome aboard! The reasons are not actually obvious, though… You in witness protection program or something?
hahahaha that cracked me up
I’m doing this from my phone and I’m VERY new here so I could very well be posting this somewhere that I don’t mean to. Anyway I’m Xander and I’m still pretty new to the sport. I’ve got the basics down and I’m beginning to learn how to take those tricks and turn them into new tricks (that I think of by myself but I’m positive they’re already tricks that I just don’t know the name of haha) but yeah I’m posting here because I love yo-yoing and I’m eager to meet new people and learn new thing! Thanks for reading:)
Hello people, I am 35 year old guy who started yoyoing less than a month ago, and I do it just for the fun of it, I found a cool tips on this forum, so I decided to join.
Cheers.
Sup, my name is mark im ive been out of yoyoing for about a year give or take a few months im getting my new arctic circle today too pumped i played around with some of my friends throws the other day and decided i made a terrible decision in getting out of yoyoing and so i got online checked the new throws from all the companies i used to love and i landed on clyw they have gotten expensive lately 0.0 but i got my arctic circle and it is currently in my state ocording to the tracking info i learned about this site from…well where else do you buy yoyos from? The other store isnt with us anymore and that forum is all spammy and icky now
Hello, I’m Noah, I just started throwing about a month ago, and this is honestly all I do now. I always loved to watch people throw, and when I finally land some tricks, it feels nice. I’m 16, and I used my first paycheck on a YoYoFactory Velocity, and a Duncan Proyo. The Proyo broke within a week, and I still have my Velocity, and I can say that this is really fun. I’m currently waiting to get my Northstar in the mail, and I can’t wait to get as good as everyone else.
Cool!
Nice to meet all you guys!
I just found out some of the mystery of constructing a line in Hyperbolic space. I may soon be able to prove that it is a neutral geometry. Yeah it’s a simple thing, but come on I don’t even have a math course right now. Err I mean. I certainly enjoy my the feel of my Marmot.
Hello, my name is Johnathon. I have been yo-yoing for about three months. I started with a Duncan Mosquito from walmart. After seeing some of the tricks on youtube I was referred to this site by one of the yoyoexpert videos and quickly bought a Dark Magic II. My favorite throws are the SuperNova and Trinity. My favorite tricks are Kwijibo and Kamikaze.
Hey guys! My name’s Brad, and I’m a 19-year-old college student, yo-ing my way through my second semester of Freshman year. I discovered yoyo-ing 5 months ago, and fell in love with it.
I learned everything I know right here on YoyoXpert \m/
Hello, my name is Marc Hailey. I’ve been yoyoing for about 7 or 8 years on and off. I moved to this forum after finding out that the yoyonation forum had been deserted. I’m hoping to be able to find the inspiration to really start progressing with some of your help. I have a dream to become a competing yoyoer in national contests in Switzerland because that’s where I am currently living. I don’t think it will happen anytime soon though since the nats have been cancelled for 3 years in a row so far. It’ll certainly be nice to talk to you all. I’m lookimg forward to it! ;D
Hi, my name is Nick I’ve been yoyoing on and off for the last 6 years. Im hoping Ill eventually be able to get into yoyoing again like I used to (back when I had to layer band-aids on my finger to stop the bleeding and to keep going.) Since I work in machining I hope to make my own yoyos one day.
Hello, my name is Stockton, I have yo-yoed for almost 2 years now and I really like it, I spend any where from 1-5 hours yoyoing a day, it is basically what I spend all of my spare time doing.Other than yoyoing, my other hobbies include swimming and Water polo. I am 16 years old and my lifetime dream is be to go to worlds one day.
**would be to go to worlds.
Yo! My name is Jimmy and I’m still new to throwing. I can’t do much, but I can impress people who don’t know the first thing about yoyos, so that’s something. I want to become really good, better than Jensen Kimmitt at least. I’m mainly into 1A and plan to keep it that way until I pretty much feel comfortable with every trick I can find and can learn new tricks pretty easily. I’m having a lot of problems with front style tricks based on the split bottom mount. I just can’t seem to get em for some reason. I have four yoyos at the moment. A YYF One, YYF Velocity, a YYJ Kickside and YYJ Legacy. They aren’t all that great but they’ve been good so far. I don’t feel like they do enough for me, but I’m really not good yet so it’s probably just me. What I want out of this community is to gain knowledge and leads to better yoyos. Knowledge along the lines of small tidbits that are probably overlooked and taken for granted. Things no one would ever really think to talk about in a video tutorial. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, I look forward to getting to know everyone, becoming a part of the community, and becoming a greater performer than Jensen Kimmitt. Thank you all, and good night!
Hello all about a year into this thing called yoyoing… Loving every second (except my first black eye @ around 6 months)… All is well though. Thanks and be friendly
Jody
Hey everyone my name is Ron and i have been yo yoing for about a year now and i love it. i started off with a loop 900 i think was the name and found myself drawn to string tricks and slack tricks. My favorite yoyo in my arsenal is my YYF Avant Garde and my favorite trick is Vashta Nerada for the simple fact that it is fun to me :).
