Hello Everyone,

I’m a 22 year old software engineer from Northwest Ohio. Started yo-yoing about 2 months ago, and it’s quickly become my favorite way to entertain myself when I’m not programming. I’m not very good, but definitely getting better.

Hi all.

The Nipper (10-year-old son) and I started playing late November/early December after a chance encounter with another player got us interested (and introduced to YYE). Since then I’ve picked up a few yoyos and we’ve been practicing every day. Well, I practice, he plays - that’s what happens when you’re 10.

We don’t really have any concrete goals, although he’s trying to get through Split the Atom to Mach 5 to Boing-E-Boing. So much for learning to walk before you try to run…

Hi! I’m Samuel. I started yoyoing when I was around 7. I’m a Chinese boy. I like 1A and 4A. I have a few Chinese auldey, Yoyofactory ,and Yoyojam yoyos.

Hi i’m Bart and i’m from poland. i’m bought my first yo-yo about a year ago. I’m yo-yoing everywhere.

Hey all. I'm excited to be a part of this great community. I'm a 27yr old electrician living in MA, and I've been throwing for about a month. I am also an electronic music producer, hence the name AudioAlchemist. Every night for the past few weeks I come home from work, pour my self an adult beverage, crank up some tunes and start rippin the YO for hours at a time. The yo has recently taken over my life, it's all I do now. I know a month is a very short time and I am still a rookie, however, I am getting really good; I can already do some advanced tricks (1A).
I bought a Yomega Exodus II for my self when Xmas shopping just for something to fool around with. I quickly outgrew that in a couple days and bought the Yomega ProSpeed and BX2. I love my ProSpeed, I think it is highly under-rated. Then came the Duncan MetalDrifter and the Yomega Maverick. I found my self hooked on this new hobby of mine. I got to the point where I knew what I wanted in a yoyo and felt I was ready to pick out a serious throw for myself. After about a week of oggeling at all the yos in the YYE shop, I decided the Oxygene Ozone was just what I wanted.
This morning, it was delivered to my doorstep. Ive been going at it for about 2 hours now and this thing is amazing!

Cheers,
AudioAlchemist

I want to be an rock music producer as my career! I hope to see you around the forum

Heyo Yoyo Experts (and noobs like me  ) How’s everyone doing?

The name’s Julius, alias Chaosryder. Started up on an little wooden fixed axel I bought from a museum giftshop. Decided it’s time to take a new turn and gave yoyoing a go. That was about 6 months ago. Ordered my first real yoyo about 3 months ago, 'twas the YYF Velocity! Great yoyo, amazing and got me started good. Along with it, I got the Duncan Speed Beetle to try out looping yoyos. Yeah…not my thing haha. About a month ago I got my amazing yoyo, also a yoyo the entire world has it seems xD, the Dark Magic II. Beautiful yoyo. Intricate design, amazing comfort, good weight balance. Best yoyo I’ve ever played with…out of the three previous xD Started 1a with these yoyos, now I’m learning 5a. Seems quite exciting. Going to order the Duncan Light up Zero, looks way cool!

Andre, dude, you are a fantastic guy. Your videos taught me so many tricks, that without the vids, I prolly would never have learned. Team Yo-Yo Jam for the win!

Anyway, that’s my yoyo life’s story haha. If anyone needs some help with anything or just wanna talk about pure awesomenes (yoyos) lemme know! I’m always down to teach and learn

Hey there, I’ve been yo-yoing for almost a month now. I bought my son a yoyo for Christmas and found myself hogging it all to myself. So, I went out and bought a couple for myself – a DM2 and a Fever.

At the moment, I’m starting to get the hang of some simple binds, Brain twister, and the Split mount.

See you guys around…
Yerret

I have noticed that >.<
Thanks for the warm welcome!

My name is justin I am 13 yrs. old, and have been yoyoing for about a year.
My fav. yoyo is the super nova and trick is roller coaster, witch is a trick i made up.

Welcome aboard! So not McBride’s Roller Coaster, then… do share! There’s a video section on the forum, and I bet people would love to see a tutorial.

Hey everybody,

I’m Eric, I am 22 and live in Bethlehem, PA. I started yo-yoing when I was about 6. In 1999 I placed 7th overall at Yomega’s Y3A Competition using a Saber-wing Raider. This was before unresponsive yo-yo’s existed and they only slept for about 30 sec. (if that) Shortly after I stopped yo-yoing and started doing other things. About a month ago, I ran into a very talented World ranked thrower (name’s won’t be mentioned so don’t ask) who goes to the same college myself. The yoyo has been glued to my finger since. That’s about it, thanx. ;D
