Introduce Yourself!

Not really, why ?

It was just a question, but still welcome!

I covered a lot of this in the recommendations thread, but hi everybody! My name’s Behemoth! I yoyoed off and on through high school, but I haven’t done much for the last ten years. For Christmas my niece wanted a yoyo, so I helped my brother-in-law pick out a beginning ball-bearing yoyo for her (I probably would have gone with a different one than what we ended up getting her, but it was the day before Christmas so our options were limited). ANYWAY, that got me thinking about yoyos again and I started doing some research, which is how I ended up here. I was immediately blown away by how far yoyos have come in the last ten years. The shapes, tricks and parlance are all way different than they used to be (that said, I was never that hardcore in the past, so maybe those same shapes, tricks and parlance existed back then and I just didn’t know about it, but I digress). So, long story short, finding this website gave me a serious itch to get back into throwing and see if I can finally move past intermediate tricks into advanced tricks (in fact that’s one of my official resolutions for 2013 “improve my yoyo game.” My other is “buy less candy.” Yes, I am a thirty-one year old attorney; why do you ask?). I’m looking forward to sinking way more time and money than I should into this hobby.

Hello, I’m Max! I’m fourteen years young and I started using Yoyoexpert about two years ago. I’m currently somewhere between Advanced part two and expert part one. I love to yoyo! I even started a new fad in my school! Goal: make a yoyo video with 1000 views

Hello, My name is Rob Davies, I live on the west coast of Canada. I am a “old school” yoyo player. I have had the privilege to meet and work with alot of fantastic players over the years. I am mostly a fixed axle player but do enjoy bearing yoyo’s as well. I hope I can learn more off string, etc.
I was a demonstrator for ProYo (Playmaxx) Duncan, and Yomega and did some promotions for SuperYo.
Great times and great memories, I am also an active yoyo collector.
This website looks great! Good Job Andre.
Keep Yo’in,
Rob[/img]

Hello my name is Alquan I am handicapped so I wanted to do something you know not to physical but just like a sport sort of and a hobby so my friend recommended yo-yoing. I started yo-yoing for maybe literally around 2-3 weeks and so far it has been awesome. I learned about maybe 3 tricks which are pretty easy the first was “Brain Twister”, then I learned “Mach 5”, then the last trick I learned was “Boingy boing” Oh and I also learned “Atomic Bomb” or aka “Barrel Rolls” :stuck_out_tongue: I got my yo-yo’s for Christmas the first one I got was a YYF WHiP then I got a Magic Yo-yo T10.[shadow=red,left]

Hey I’m Estevan, 21. I’m from Pasadena, CA but I’m currently studying at the University of San Francisco. I just started yoyoing a week ago after coming across some yoyo videos randomly on YouTube. It’s been a short amount of time but I already love it! Hope to meet some of you soon and share my progress with everyone ;D

Hi my name Nicholas and I live in Canada. I first started yoyoing when I won a wooden yoyo as a prize (maybe 2 years ago?). I learned some looping tricks, and a few sleeper tricks but the yoyo wouldn’t sleep long enough to do anything. I revisited yoyoing earlier this year, and got a Duncan Dragonfly. I learned up to a few advanced tricks, and took a break from it. I got a YYF JK before it stopped being sold, and loved it. I am back into yoyoing and probably will be FOREVER! Or close to that.
