Cool. Welcome to the community!
Hey, Iām Logan.
I have been yoyoing for 11 months. I also like magic tricks and penspinning.
Hello, where to start, hmm. Lets see Iām 33, happily married with two kids in which is getting back into a lot of things, such as this week my younger son bought a yoyo in order to donate to something. And of course he asks me if I could try it. So I snapped it hard to get it into a sleeper and almost hit myself in the head since it wouldnāt and came right back up⦠I sooo wasnāt expecting that! So I took it apart when he wasnāt looking to find it was wrapped around the axel not once, not twice, but three times, yet there was a brass sleeve that rides on the main axel, I havenāt seen this. The first yoyo I owned was the yomega brain, and then got into just a plain wooden one after watching the smother brothers, over twenty years ago, now thereās aluminum ones with ball bearings, holly crap! After letting twenty years go by Iām so out of date! I want to get back into yoyoing, especially since my son wants to, but I need a new real yoyo, I was looking at the velocity? I can still do my basics, walking the dog, rocking the baby, around the world. But Iād also like to get into some of the newer things that Iāve seen on YouTube, but I need practice and a new yoyo, whatās a good one to start with? JR
Hmm, I think thatās a good started yoyo.
Depend on how much. Want to spend magic are $20 and for $10 more u can put a one drop bearing in it and make a $1oo yo out of it
Hi all my name is Daniel Iām 24 and I just started yoyoing recently currently I have a YYF DV888, Whip and my first yoyo a Pocket Pros Zombie. I live in savannah, ga and am looking for someone else in the area who yoyos
Hey Guys. My name is Kenn. Iām 24. I used to yoyo when I was a kid. I didnāt use anything fancy though. Just some Duncanās and Yomegaās. I recently got back into yoyoing when I found my old Duncan Bumblebee in an old backpack in my closet. Right now Iām using a YYF Grind Machine but I want to purchase either a One Drop Cascade or a Crucial Cupcake pretty soon. No dreams of going pro, just doing it for fun. Something to take the stress away from working in a busy hospital. Thatās about it for me.
hello, my name is highly classified, just got my supernova yoyo in the mail today and working on buddas revenge ![]()
My name is Adam. Iāve been browsing the forum for about a week now and decided it is time to pull the trigger. Iāve ordered a yyj classic. Canāt wait to start throwing.
hello im rifki from indonesia⦠2yrs yoyoing. nice to meet you, guys
Hi everyone!
My name is not important ![]()
Anydoodles, I took up throwing probably 7 years ago but never took it too seriously. A couple years ago I started throwing a Maverick and a Madhouse 5150, but those have long since gone some place⦠I wish i knew where they were.
I was recently on a business trip and ran in to a hobby shop that was having a yo-yo night, so I picked up a Whip and got sucked back in. Iām not looking to spend a few hundred dollars on yo-yo stuff again, but I want to get a good yo-yo setup that is good for me to just mess around with, 1A style. I really liked the weight and size of the 5150, and from the looks of things the Magic YoYo n8 is similar in that it is a smaller heavier yo-yo. Only thing I wonder about is response pads, they seem to be awkward to order online, can never tell what pads fit what yo-yos other than branded ones and bearing upgrades.
