My name is Gilliam, and I’m from Belgium. After I discovered yoyo’s when I was a little kid, the hobby got lost when I got older. Recently a friend of mine made me remember how much fun it actually is, so I decided to do some research about how the sport had evolved, and found this site. I just got my Dark Magic 2 in the mail and now that I worked my way trough the Beginner and Intermediate section, I’m starting on the Advanced tricks.
Sounds pretty similar to me, and I have the DM2 also! Maybe we’ll remember to compare advancement in a few months. 
Hi to all YoYo enthusiasts
Well, although I’m new to this site but I’m not new to yoyo xD My previous yoyo was the RB Zicon’s Chousoku Spinner series YoYO, the Super Dragon Ball. And after 5 years of hiatus from yoyoing, now I found that yoyo of mine was for kids, not the real competitive ones.
I’d been yoyoing since at the age of 12 but I stopped because the only toy store that sold yoyo around my area stopped their yoyo business for no reason 
Anyway, after my friend showed me a World YoYo Competition video on YouTube, it ignited my passion towards yoyo again, and I started to do some deep research on the real yoyo world outside 
Frankly speaking, I categorize myself as beginner/fresh intermediate player though I played yoyo before because I can do ALL the beginner’s tricks but can only do some of the intermediate tricks.
I own DUNCAN ProZ yoyo now and it works pretty well for my level My favourite trick is the Kamikaze although I haven’t the level to execute the trick yet xD

My name is Marc, with my 35 years I have been here in the forum probably already among the older generation. I am living in the southern end of Germany.
For Yo-Yo I’m (currently) actually came quite by chance (but in the late eighties / early nineties, I was like “married” with my black and red Duncan-Wheel).
I was simply looking for a birthday gift for myself, and should be a Skilltoy definitely. So I came a year ago and since then YYF-ONE of 7 other yoyos.
So (almost) without any prior knowledge, I am at this time unfortunately not blessed with such rapid progress as others here. This was partly because I can not spend so much time playing, as I wanted.
Anyway, I hope we’re spending a good time together here in this forum.

Hello everyone, I’m Graeme.
I’ve been yoyoing for a little bit I guess, I use a Dark Magic or Hitman and sometimes a Speeder. I’m getting back into them and hopefully I can learn some cooler tricks.
I’m just learning some 2A and 4A as well, so I’ve got lots to learn
Hey everybody! I have been yoyoing since February of 2011. I started when my sibling got a Pulse for his birthday. I sorta took over from there (what a terrible brother I am)! I first found yoyoeXpert.com while searching “yoyo tricks” on Google. This great site was the first one on the list!
The first yoyo that I purchased was the Raptor. That and my SR-71 are my “primary weapons” of choice. Since then I have been learning from the Master section… I am currently working on perfecting “And Whut.” Thank you guys for such a great website!!!

I started yoyoing about a year ago for fun and to help with my guitar practice (deep psychological reasons). I loved the yoyo too much to put it down, and I look forward to teaching my son some tricks sometime after my wife and I welcome him in late December of this year!
I’m started with a Losi Da Bomb and a Yomega Maverick. Right now I’m switching between an Adegle Asteroid, a YoyoFactory Velocity, and a ONE with the large bearing.

Anyway! My name is Chad, and I have been yo-yoing for about 2 Months now on and off. I’m a tad bit of a slow learner (Nobody could teach me the bind, they were all overlooking which way the yo-yo was spinning), but I’ve had more spare time now that I’m at college. ;D Just learned the Zipper, The Matrix, and Boingy Boing (mostly) all this week! I look forward to taking a shot at 2A when I get home and I currently have the ONE, 888x, Yomega Ooch-yo, 2 YYJ Unleashed (waiting for me at home!), and I’m getting the ILYY Fury for Christmas (giving and receiving from one’s self counts, right?). My other hobbies are Tennis, Volleyball, MTG, and various online computer games. Since yo-yoing has caught my attention, I’ve also been using a CAD program to design yo-yos just for kicks.
And yes, I’m a nerd. :
