Hello!

I’m Robert. I have been yo-yoing on and off (regretably mostly off) since the big yo-yo craze in England in the late 90s.

I consider myself at the low end of intermediate, but I have fun playing and learning.

Hey all. The names tricksey (my friends came up with it actually when I started getting into skill toys). And yes, I am a girl yo-yoer gasp!.
I started with juggling and I guess that was my gateway skill. From there, it was sphere-play, some slight of hand, poi, slack-line, and hoop dance. While walking through a store in Old Colorado, I fell in love with a YoyoJam New Breed yoyo. I bought it, only knowing how to throw a sleeper.
Thanks to Yoyo Expert, I learned to bind and I guess my yo-yo journey started from there. I have been throwing on and off for the last 4 years and love love love it! I’m really back into it (no cable or access to the city here) and going through a new list of tricks I want to learn.
It is by far my favorite skill toy, though I still juggle from time to time. I just got an offstring and freestyle yo-yo as well. So excited to start learning 5A!
(Also, I will be in Orland, CA–close to Chico–in 3 months and would love to meet anyone that could help me with a ride to the yo-yo club!!!)

Yay! More girl yoyoers!

Welcome to the forums!

Oh hi there!

I’m back (wondering if this forum is Tapatalk compatible…sure would be nice!)!

Jumario Simmons, primarily 4A player, member and one of the folks who runs the Cleveland Yo-Yo Club, yoyoing for 6 years as of September 24th and yeah…strangely enough, one of the first people to sign up for yoyoexpert way back when too!

So, good to be back, awesome to have seen this board flourish from the original 100 members it once had!

Hi there!
I’m Brian from Singapore!
22 this year and been throwing for 3 years.

I’m really glad to be lucky enough to experience the asia pacifics championships the past 3 years, there’s just soo many awesome people to meet around the world and i’m glad i can finaly meet more of you guys after upgrading my internet to cope with the YYE forum. (it was pretty laggy for my before the upgrade)

I’m currently in the army, thinking of pursuing a career in film and hopefully start out a yoyo company in the near future with the help of some friends.

So yeah! I hope to get better at yoyoing through forum and to get along with you guys.
Cheers! ;D

YYE is on tapatalk and they have their own tapatalk app on the appstore

Little bit about me: Born in Hong Kong, adopted and raised in Australia I have a current interest in Yo-Yoing, hence why I’m here, why we’re all here. I have developed this interest in yoyoing when my friend showed me a video of Ben Conde. Afterwards I started watching other yoyoers and found Mimi Thian who is now one of my main inspirations, so thank you Mimi!

Q/A Section:

Why am I taking up yoyoing?
Inspired by Mimi Thian and Ben Conde I have found it interesting and ponder the possibility of me being able to pull of any fancy moves like they do.

What is my favourite yoyo?
After doing a little research I have decided that I will be getting YoYoFactory’s SKU Velocity as my first yoyo and therefore it will be my favourite yoyo for now. I hear it is great for beginners.

What is my favourite trick?
Gravity Pull, you can’t do any other trick without knowing how to throw a yoyo!

What if people want to contact me?
Follow this link, Redirecting... it’s my facebook account, no DP as I am one of those people that just can’t get a perfect one.

Anything else I want to say?
I am a fast learner, if I put my mind to something and give me a few hours I will have it mastered!
Just a figure of speech, I won’t actually have it mastered but you get the picture.

That’s it, nice to meet you all, that was a just a bit about me.

Hey every one:) my name is Khanh i’m a yoyoer from VietNam. The firt time i’m throwing a yoyo about 2 years ago ; my idol is JK and Alexist JV from SPYY…i love them so much and they combos are so smooth :-*

Hey All, Chief Wiggum here. Got back into yoing after over 25 years. This old dog has been trying to learn some new tricks in the last 9 months and it’s been great. Just amazed at how much the art has evolved from back in the day. My mind has been absolutely blown watching all the videos from the likes of Jensen Kimmitt, Jason Lee, Brett Grimes, Ernest Kahn, John Ando, Hiroyuki Suzuki, and so many more. Such variety of styles and personalities.

I just got upgraded from my first yo, a Protostar (which I love) to a CLYW Chief (a gift from a good friend). Man oh man, I love this new throw. I’ve read some threads from people saying they don’t understand the hype. For reals?

Anyhoo, this is a hobby I definitely plan on sticking with. I love the creativity, discipline, portability, and its appeal to people of all ages. This site has been such a help - the tutorials (Andre is great a breaking things down for us noobs), the store (love to drool), and the forum (filled with such characters and interesting topics). So thanks all for bringing a little youthful energy and excitement back into my life.

I suppose I better introduce myself before being a creeper who randomly appears in threads stating his opinion, leaving people to ask ā€œWho is this person?ā€

I’m Lance – Maru online. I was into yo-yoing back in the late 90’s with various Yomega throws, which I still own in nice shape somehow. I quit the hobby for a long time by the early 00’s. Years later after the advent of online video on MSN and eventually youtube I found out how much yo-yos had advanced and was really intruiged by the tricks you could now perform. Earlier this year I got my first unresponsive yo-yo from my dad and have been having a fun time learning new tricks and combinations.

My current favorite throws are my Aoda Miracle, Qixia Yoke, and my magic N8 and N10.

I’ve been posting for alittle bit, and I find this thread now? lol, I’m Leco, and I’m a big fan of yoyos and whatnot.

Well I just want to introduce myself

I’m Gemma, and I’m thirteen years old, I live in Barcelona (Spain) and i I’ve been yoyoing for about one year and nine months. I post yoyo vids in my youtube account, JustAnotherYoYoEr. You can check it out and you’ll find how do I play like.

My favourite yoyos are YYJ Speeder I, YYJ Revolution, and MagicYoYo N9 Floating Cloud.
My favourite yoyo tricks are Green Triangles, Eli Hops and Towers.

Hey, Im Danny, I got into yoyoing through fencing class, and i decided to look here for help on harder tricks

Through… fencing… class? I wonder what the story is there!

Hello! My name is Kristóf. I from Hungary in Eger. I’m 17 years old. My favourite hobby is play a yoyo.
