What’s going on guys! My name is Joey but you can call me Jroe. I’m a yoyo player from Franklin, Tennessee, about 20 miles south of Nashville. I have been Yoyoing for about 7 years now and I’m not afraid to admit that I’m not the best. But I have a passion for Yoyoing only second to my passion for cooking. My favorite yoyo brand is by far YoYo Factory. The local yoyo club, team chaotix, is very supportive and just a great group of guys, but I’m rather afraid that the scene here in nashville is falling apart. I own a good yoyo collection. Favorites being my 2010 Aqua 888. I have torn that thing to oblivion. Following closely is my h spin pyro light. Then my northstar. I’m a sucker for plastic yoyos. I enjoy modding. Still in the beginner stage if that hobby but hey, ya gotta break a few eggs to make an omlitte. I also enjoy shooting videos and I have recently gotten into video editing.

Feel free to add me on Facebook!: Joey DeMent
And, if your an iPhone user, I post pics of my yoyos and mods on my Instagram!:freespinjroe

I have been on many yoyo forums in my day but none of then happened to keep me interested. Hopefully this one will catch my fancy. :D.

Well welcome and I hope this forum is to your liking.

Hi i’m josh and i love the small town i’m in because they still sell misquotes for $2.50
been a couple years since i picked up a yo-yo but so far so good, I haven’t injured myself with it ;).
I’ve already learned 3 new tricks in just 30 mins

Sweet good luck to you and enjoy the forums. C=

Congrats hope you learn a lot more.

Hello, my name is Josh, and I’ve been yo-yoing for 7 months, and I’m probably pretty good for my level. I can almost freestyle, but I haven’t made up any of my own tricks. I purchased a YYJ PHENOMizm as my first yo-yo in April, and it probably wasn’t the smartest idea, lol, but at least I’m still throwing  My favorite tricks are laceration and hook tricks, and i can do hidemasa hook pretty often, and I’m working on ninja vanish and brent stole. Anyways, I’m glad to be part of this forum! ;D Currently I’m throwing a Duncan Metropolis, and I’m trying to raise some money to buy a YYF JK or POPStar.

sounds pretty cool josh, ive been yoyoing for about the same amount of time as you and i am learning quickly too. never thought that i would ever be yoyoing, but its an addiction dude. my first yoyo i bought on here was the YYJ Atmosphere. i am likewise trying to save up for a POPstar and my friend has a YYF jk. well, happy yoyoing, and maybe we’ll come in contact again. ;D

My name is KC, I live in Colorado. I invent cool little geometric kinetic and magnetic creations(youtubedotcom/hyprklstrkmplx). Just started throwing a month or two ago, 'ol andre helps me out with his vids, very helpful he is. My favourite tricks so far is the plastic whip and the matrix. still trying to learn combos, i have some pops and grinds down pretty well… I own a kickside, a hitman pro, a phenom, and a mighty flea 2010. Looking for a yyf big deal (200$?). yeah.

Welcome hope yeah like like the forum. C=

Is KC initials? I am KC, and that is my legal name! :stuck_out_tongue:

Welcome to the forum. Keep yoyoing!

KC stands for Kurtis Christopher. I think I will keep yoyoing, thanks KC!

I like the initials, and you are welcome!

Hey people! My name’s Ryan Julien. I first started yo-yoing around five or six years ago. Yo-yos seemed pretty cool to me back then, so I bought one at a Toyrus (all I remember about it is that it was partially blue and it was wing-shaped). I could do tricks up to around the world. Eventually, I either lost that yo-yo or it started acting up and I didn’t know how to fix it (lost interest, too).

Fast forward to today, about three weeks ago my mom bought my little sister a yo-yo filled with candy (Yo-yo Mania Bubble Gum Dispenser) from a dollar store. She asked me to show her how to yo-yo. The yo-yo wasn’t ā€œworkingā€ like it should, so I decided to buy another one (Yomega Power Brain Wing XP). I found out about yoyoexpert.com from a friend that’s also getting back into yo-yoing. And now, I’m here.

I plan to learn a lot from conversating with others on this forum.

Ryan Julien

I’m fairly new to yoyoing and came to this site through Google for tutorials and posted a question. I haven’t looked at the trick videos yet as I have been learning through YouTube videos. But I might check them out…
