I’m Jamie from England. Have only been throwing again for about six months, still quite a newbie! Loving all the modern yoyos out there at the moment and have a modest collection of six metals, my favourites so far are my y factor, markmont next and 888x. Love rock music and cartoons! Big science fiction fan! Hello to everyone!!

hello my name is jake i got my first yoyo today in the mail and it BROKE!!! >:( the first time i used it may i send it back with the reciept and you can fix it or send me a new one?

hi

hey everyone looking forward to meeting you! I have not been yo-yoing long but I love it! found this site today because I got some money for Christmas and was looking around at yos. I noticed there was a forum and thought I should join.

May I ask how? Depending on how it broke, contact the manufacturer and explain to them what happened. Make sure to include detailed pictures. If they agree to you will have to send it to them and they will replace it.

Hey I’m Nate, been yoyoing for about 7 months now and I’ve found I never leave the house without at least one yoyo on me.

I’ve been learning to yoyo at my new job at a store called GameDaze in Phoenix AZ; I felt since we sold yoyo’s I should learn how to yoyo and ever sense I started I haven’t been able to put them down.

Right now I’m actually kind of in the process of learning 5A (it’s kicking my butt) but I’m starting to get the hang of it.

But that’s pretty much it, If you’re ever in the valley stop by PV Mall’s GameDaze and say hi I love meeting new people.

im marc ive been yoyoing for 3 montns now.
i love yoyoing and i am not going to quit after a year, i zoomed through beginner and intermidiate tricks and most advanced and i am currently working on budhas revenge and double iron whip.
i currently have a dark magic 2 this is amazing but its dented and scratched and just a mess so i am about to get a new breed for chrismas.
in addition i will also be getting yuuksta as my first full metal.

im 14 and yoyoing is a true sport!!!

Hi, I’m older than most members, but I hve been playing with yos since the Duncan days in the 70 and 80s. Learning the split the atom and brain twister. In the old days the Duncans were used for loop the loops, and other simple tricks.
The yos today are in a different catagory. It’s hard to use the old narrow yos. They now feel very ancient.
I have several new yos, Mini Mo Tu, Dark magic ,Hit Man Tom Kuhn, and Protostar.etc
The protostar is real difficult to return. I double bind and still no response. Thinking of changing the berring and narrowing the wide gap if possible. Plus the berring is very noisy. Any hints would be great…

Your Protostar should only need a single bind, remember to push your string into the gap, don’t just drop it.  Make sure you have enough string in the loop you’re binding with as well.  Changing the bearing won’t do anything really, some people prefer certain bearings to others, but I’ve never really noticed a difference.

As far as your looping yo-yos, you should look up some 2a competition vids, looping is certainly not dead my friend but evolving just as quickly as any other form of yo-yoing.  These might open your eyes a bit  :

hope I’ve been of some help and welcome back to the sport

Hello all! My name is Cubie, and I’ve been yoyoing since late August, so about 3 and a half months so far. I progressed from a Dragonfly to an FHZ, Protostar(which I screwed up…I’m not good with the tight bearing seat >.>), to my current yoyo, a Dark Magic. I found this site from the videos on Ehow. I’m working my way through all the tricks, currently on Expert Part 1! Thanks for the videos and the help!

Well guess I should introduce myself as well. My name is Jay and I have been yoing for about 7 Years (since I was in 6th grade ish). It all started during one of those boring summers between your middle school grades. I was digging through all my toys and found this old yoyo. I started playing with it and soon enough I was able to get it to sleep and such. Told my dad about it and he showed me how to rock the baby. I quickly learned both of those and next thing you know, I’m searching the internet looking for harder tricks. I eventually bought some new yos and it’s all downhill from there.

Aside from yoing, I also juggle(up to 7 balls, 5 rings, and 4 clubs), cigar boxes, devil sticks, Contact juggle, pen spin, poi spin, footbag, diabolo, speed read, and few other things. I mainly focus on 1A and 5A. I can do 2A but I’m horrible at it. 4A, I’m decent at but don’t know a whole lot of tricks. 3A is my nemesis and we don’t speak.

I’m not that big into competitions either because mainly of my location. Not many people yo in Alabama. I do it to show off and have fun and that’s what I’m going to help do.

Hello everyone! My names Stephen. I also go by Doom, Doomshock, FlaminFury, Steph, etc…

Ive thrown on and off throughout my life but took it seriously now. Just recently nailed suicide and skinning the Gerbil. Im looking forward to making some new friends here! And maybe even some yoyo buddies. Wish me luck yoyo-ing and best of luck to all.

hi, My name is Shanika and I have been throwing for 1 year 5 months.
I started on holiday in portugal, when i got a yoyo from a Juggling shop.
I then did work experience in a London Oddballs juggling shop, and learnt juggling, diabolo, flowerstick, contact juggling, poi and much more. I love yoyo and throw mostly 1a, but sometime throw 4a and 5a, 3a and 2a am just bad at.

Hello Everyone my name is James and learned about this site about a year or little more back and right now I am a decent player and still learning and can’t wait for x-mas for the new ones!

;D

Hello my name is Tamara and if you guess where I got my user name from, you are one big theatre or literature geek. Or both. So I suppose that’s a hint.

The first yo-yo I remember having was a Burger Chef and Jeff promotional/kids meal yo-yo from Burger Chef. And yes we got it from Burger Chef. And no, I do not consider myself old.

Anyway I about a year and a half ago I decided I wanted a yo-yo. Went out and bought a Duncan Imperial and was having fun just doing gravity throws, sleepers and forward passes. Then I found out yo-yo’s had grown up.

I now have a collection of about 40 yo-yo’s, some are players, some are still in the package, and some are older yo-yos (including getting the classic Burger Chef and Jeff yo-yo). Skill level mostly high begineer and intermediate. I do have a life, but this is something I have fallen in love with all over again.

My names Bailey, my fav. is Legacy.
Im the best in Redlands (not many do it)
Im pretty good i actualy don’t this website for tricks much most i teach myself.

Hows it going Peple? Well I guess you can call me a noob to all the New Styles and Yos out Today. I used to Throw when I was young and got good at alot of the basics and ended up moving and losing my Yo. I geuss I kinda moved on to somthing else but then found my old collection yrs later and got intrested again. Know I feel kinda out of date with bunch more styles and Yos that well, are just amazing. So I’m relearnin and try to upgrade my collection. I think i want to start with a YYF Grind Machine. I really like the hubs and grind ring and have kinda learned how to bind with a Duncan Metal Drifter and a FH 2 that I leaned how to mod in the forums here.

im gabe,
i guess im kinda late to this ive been on yye for about ten months now and just decided to introduce myself. ive have been yoyoing for as i said about 10 months and have skipped a lot of the tricks but im probably and advanced or expert thrower in trerms of the difficulty of the tricks my favorite yoyo is the superstar and the 888x i know a lot of people like the dark magic and everything but it didnt really sit well for me. i found this sight after endless research on the internet before i had a yoyo and eventually saw one of andres tutorials and looked at his profile it said yoyoexpert so i decided to check it out and now here i am…

this is my 100th POST YAY :o ;D
