Hey, my name is Chloe, and I have been yo-yoing for about two years now. I love it, I love to impress people, and it is a great way to unwind (no pun intended) after a day at school. I started out with Duncan yo-yos, bought a dark magic, and slowly got into offstring and freehand, though i still fail really hard at looping… Glad to finally be part of the forum!
I doubt anyone will actually read this, but I’ll throw it in here anyway.
I’m Luke, I’m 23, I was into yoyos as a kid, but was just reintroduced about a month ago. Things have changed, and are more awesome.
Having just started again, the Protostar is my only throw. I’ll be looking to expand in the future.
Yoyoexpert was recommended to me by the friend who recently reintroduced me to yoyos. He said it was a good place to find instructional trick videos. I’ve appreciated it a lot so far. The combo of yoyoexpert and highspeedyoyo is pretty fantastic.
Hey my names Chris im 19 and i have been throwing for about 5 months now and i am hooked. I started yoyoing just out of boredom. My PS3 broke and i needed something to pass the time. One day i was at Toy’s r us buying a birthday present form someone i knew and i saw the Duncan Butterfly yoyo was only $3 so i pick one up for the heck of it. i got home and started just trying to sleep it. I did play with yoyo’s when i was younger but gave up out of frustration. after i got the basics down i went on youtube and typed in yoyo tricks for beginners and these videos by Yoyo eXperts very own Andre Boulay came up. After i got a better yoyo and i learned Brain twister i was hooked!!! I’m learning more and more everyday. My favorite tricks to do at the moment are Eli Hops, gyroscopic flop, skin the gerbil, and the matrix.I am glad i picked up that butterfly yoyo… i think it was fate lol
My name is Larry Offner and I live near Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I’m a 57 year old who has a fascination for yoyos. When I was a kid my dad and I would go to downtown New Orleans to see the Duncan Yoyo Champs perform tricks at the Maison Blanch department store on Canal Street. Since the passing of my Dad I started collecting vintage Duncan Yoyos, I guess it’s a way for me to connect…
Now, I’m anxious to get into spinning and trying to remember the few string tricks I performed when I was a kid. Thanks for allowing me to join your forum and I’m covet your help and recommendations in the future.
Hi, I am new to this forum but not new to yoyoing. I know some of the members here from a different forum, but I look forward to meeting everyone else.

Hey guys, my names bodhi (rhymes with Cody). I have been Yoyoing since I was three years old. Yoyoing is my life and my favorite Yoyo is a yoyojam Eneme with a ceramic concave bearing with shims. My favorite tricks are revolutions and gyroscopic flops. I can do all but 3a style of Yoyoing. Yoyoing is my life and always will be. I encourage people to spread Yoyoing, if we don’t spread it then it will eventually die out. So go outside and Yoyo in places to show off. Sorry for the rant.
Hi guys im Kevin, im 21, and im from Oceanside, California. O’Side!!! i got into yoyoing after finding a FH2 in a box of my stuff after my parents kicked me out( on my 18th b day no less:) from there i fell in love. I could not put the thing down. By the way it had no friction stickers and i was using cotton string. So two years go by and here i am. Got a decent yoyo collection, a place to live, and a whole new group of friends to talk to on YYE. Looking forward to talking and arguing with some of u and who knows maybe even trading some yoyos.
