Initial TiVayder Thoughts

My jam is weight placement on both the rims and slightly back from the rims a little bit, whether it’s with an inner ring of the same material like the Kayak or Chief or a steel ring like the Raiser or Breeze.

I wonder if with Titanium you can achieve that distribution without needing a ring to concentrate the weight.

That’s high praise. If we were talking purely performance I’d agree. There’s only 4 spots on Mt. Rushmore.

I actually really like this size. Most of my throws are full sized so the variety is nice and my hands are kinda small so it fits nicely, or at least differently than what I’m used to.

no one’s mentioned this yet but it’s really nice for snap starts. Definitely the best snap start yoyo out of my whole collection.

I want to know who is gonna be the first to throw it in the line for Star Wars Disneyland

Based on my observations of other items with Ti-Ni coatings, I think it might just be the oils from your skin that cause it to look darker. Anyone who has observed this, have you tried cleaning it with a gentle cleaner like a guitar finish cleaner? - I like to use Dunlop 65 on my throws, it makes the finish look like new again! edit: if you just wipe it with a cloth, it can cause the oils to smear around but not actually lift off. Its the same challenge with cleaning stainless steel appliances and glossy polishes.

Frankly it may look better with the patina

Update: I tried 3A and it was loud and unsuccessful. This was the first time I’ve attached two unresponsive throws to my body.

I love it. Although I’m still fairly new (since middle school in 1999), this is easily one of the best throws that I have–if not the best. And I’ve bought a legit collection over this past year. Everything from the shape to the stability is spot-on. So glad I bought two. (was going for #69 and #213, but I was close on one of those)

I find the TiVayder to be more nimble than most throws I own. I wouldnt call it a “speed” throw, but its so light and effortless on the string, you can just keep pushing and pushing to your hearts content. I did change out the response to Monkey Snot, not because I was unhappy with the performance of the stock response, but I really wanted to have an accent color, as its kind of a signature look for me IRL. So I put neon green in there, and now it looks even better! Doesnt feel any different than it did before, only looks cooler.

I have never had a black yoyo before, and I do like the feel of the black finish. It rings and tings wonderfully but does not finger grind well (we all knew that, tho).
I could easily see it being an EDC for me. I like em soft and comfy O’s, and I favor smaller ones as well. So it really checks off a lot of boxes for me. The price is killer and the performance is excellent. Easy top 5 for me. Maybe even top 3? . . .time will tell, but I really love mine. Thanks to all involved! <3

I saw somewhere you really like the tundra, I’m curious to know how you think this compares. I bought 2 vayders but never played the tundra

I think the small size is throwin me off in terms of feel

Also it’s not natural for a yoyo this size and weight to spin this long :joy:

Say whatever you want but what I’m most excited about with having the TiVayder is not the play or feel but the fact that I have a beater now that sparks and I can literally walk the dog whenever I want, and it SPARKS
