But do you like the way it actually plays?
Never threw a vayder but had a Drunner and a Tundra
The Tundra is full sized while the Drunner is mid sized, they both handle regens well but the tundra has so much power, it’s a very strong throw in regards to stability and spin time - the tundra is a lil sharper than I’d like around the edges and has snow tires response, while the Drunner was a true organic, comfortable feeling throw
Non-comparable really, they’re two different types of yoyos
If you get desperate, you should be able to remove the black finish with a red Scotch Brite abrasive and a drill (as long as you can mount it so it spins smoothly). It worked perfectly for me when I regretted my blue Ti Dream and now I have a cool two-tone Ti Dream (raw outside, blue inside)
Perform at your own risk.
I actually like it alot now. I wasnt so sure until I had it in hand. Looks incredible with the red plutonium they shipped with.
Update. TiVayder has officially de-throned Tihawk for my “Desert Island 4” as my choice for “O” throws.
Current Desert Island 4
- TiSS Himming Bird - V
- AMS Tundra - W
- Doomsday Genesis - H
- and TiVayder for my - O
Wanna sell/trade your TiHawk?
Yeah I like the Hawk a lot but IMO the Vayder / Walker shape is slightly superior. More rim weight too. They are closely related siblings for sure.
Lol, just realized the typo.
I love beans and regens.
bean//REBEAN
Teach me how to bean!
You can’t handle the bean, n00b
Now that @EOS44 has one maybe he can post his thoughts
It SPINS GUD. The small diameter caught me off guard (as most undersized yos do) but I’m really enjoying it.
I would like to play with it a bit more and film a trick with it and share my full thoughts on it.
I will have to try it eventually. I don’t know why but I feel really confortable with slightly undersized yoyos haha
Does it spin for a fairly decent amount of time? It does look like more weight has been emphasized on the rims to make it spin longer.
Spins for days! Dont let my hyperbole throw you off, it really does have a great amount of spin time.
It does spin pretty good. The rims have a fair amount of heft, comparable to some slightly larger aluminum yoyos, but of course in that smaller package. The rounded off wall & glossy surface does mean it’ll tilt pretty readily, but if you’re used to O shapes without response bumps it’ll feel right at home. The shape is amenable to doing regens pretty easily.
The IGR is pretty prominent here, definitely one of the striking features of the design.
Just out of curiosity, does it usually come smooth/dead smooth?
I have two and they are both very smooth.
I’ve thrown seven and they are all dead smooth.
