I just got this in a few hours ago and bought it off the BST. It is dead smooth. I love it. Its my first Titanium ive ever had or threw. I also love the size of this. But I prefer more undersized yoyos anyway. I wouldn’t necessarily consider this undersized but its just right for me. Also love the grey color. Now I want to buy more Titanium’s.
There’s a raw and black version!
I have 3 and they are all smoother than my Original Ti-Walkers.
And the OGs’ are pretty darn smooth.
Matter of fact; I may actually sell my Original Ti-Walkers because the Vader’s are so well done; I think a few collectors will appreciate having them more than I currently do🤓
I have them all as well and they are dead smooth. The raw is one I carry anywhere. No finish to mess up. The only problem I have with them is they are so smooth and quite I can’t tell how much spin they have left on them! Pretty darn good problem to have if you ask me.
From my experience with two of them and from others, it seems like the bearings come overlubed. Some people even mentioned theirs being semi-responsive.
I just checked my raw and grey for vibe. Both are really smooth. Ironically enough, the raw one that I use for sparking and rough play (ive slammed it a couple times) is on par with the smoothest yoyo in my entire collection. The thing doesnt even have nail vibe despite the damage ive done to it. Ive even swapped the bearing so this isn’t even factory tuning.
Yup I agree. They were semi-responsive, learned quickly with a simple plastic whip that went straight to the knuckles.
But I always pull my bearing, use acetone and a air compressor to spin them out dry, then if they are noisy I throw one drop of thin “one drop” lube and blow it out with the air.
My ti Vayder is a B grade and It’s difficult to fathom why. It has some extremely minor fingernail vibe, that’s all! It’s a really nice yoyo!
Are they marked b grade somehow?
This yo-yo makes me understand what @Mazdarx7FD meant when talked about the Float being too light to go super fast with. Not that the Float is unstable but you lose the feel of it when you go too fast. The Vayder isn’t quite that light feeling but it’s close. It feels like it shouldn’t be as stable or long spinning as it is.
This is one of the main things I noticed when I first got it. It felt unexpectedly stable and long spinning for the weight and feel
If they are engraved, they are A grade for sure.
Just bought a grey one. I’m excited
Where does everyone stand on the Vayder now?
Anyone like theirs significantly less? More? Anyone gotten rid of theirs?
I don’t throw mine as much as my go to yo-yos that are more full sized, but I’m still a huge fan of this yo-yo and my thoughts on it haven’t really changed. It’s just a great yo-yo and if it were a little bigger than it’d probably be my favorite.
I still feel that it’s the best throw that I own or have ever used. It’s made me a better player also. As others have mentioned it’s so smooth I can’t tell how much spin is left on it.
I also think it’s a great value in terms of cost-to-performance ratio, can’t imagine these $500+ throws playing much better than these do.
I may treat myself to another one for the holidays to complete the set.
Yeah even if it’s not my favorite based on specs it’s just a phenomenal yo-yo.
I actually held off on throwing mine as much when I first got it, because I didn’t want to ding it before I torched it. After torching a couple months back I played it A LOT up until a few weeks ago when I got hooked on the Death Adder. Still love the Vayder, definitely won’t be leaving my collection anytime soon, if ever.
Still really digging the Vayder. I like it just as much as when I first got it.
Still high in my rotation. Got muscled out of my grouch pouch EDC when I got my Wanker, but still gets off the shelf at least a few times a week.
I love my Vayder! I’m usually carrying the Vayder and whatever my newest throw is. Right now my newest throw is the Parlay. The Parlay is really amazing.
I like mine. They are excellent yoyos, but I don’t throw them often. Not because they aren’t good, but because they aren’t the best (or most fun) yoyos in my collection. However, they remain the best titanium value for the money ever!
