I’ve spent a ridiculous amount on individual yoyos that were rare, but four figures for just one yoyo does seems a tad high. I’m actually not familiar with Anglams but I could maybe see someone spending that if they had fully bought into the story and history behind that line. But still we are basically talking an order of magnitude increase in cost. A thousand US gives me enough to have a respectable collection or sets me up with enough equipment to compete if I’m skilled enough to go pro. For that much money I’m going to be wanting something insanely spectacular. I’m sure I’d be let down if I find a flaw in the finish, if it is tad more vibey or doesn’t quite play as well compared to yoyos already have at 1/10 the cost.
Also if I bought it, I’m sure I’d ding it minutes after taking it out of the box.
