If I’m going for more than a few days, I’ll take my 12-case. If it’s just a night or two, I’ll usually throw a full sized yoyo in a holder in my bag and something slimmer/smaller in my pocket.
If I drive I’ll do a 12 case or three flying I generally don’t check a bag so I just stuff yo-yos in my luggage.
For me I decided I wanted one yoyo for travel and that what’s brought my attention to the Zero Gravity El Mijo, with the 3 bearing/play style set ups.
It’s still my travel companion for that reason.
Sometimes I’ll just take 2 different material throws and a couple responsive and unresponsive bearings if I’m not leaving for too long.
I kind of over packed this holiday to the in-laws. Might have been trying to distract myself on this trip.
All of it fit in my ZGRT backpack plus a small laptop my wife is currently using.
32 yo-yos and 6 skill toys and some other junk
Blanks in everything?
I want to say yes but I reality I was starting to
Miss bearings a tad…
At least you packed some nice stuff.
I just fill my case for 6 and throw in my off string yoyo.
I have been home in Italy for a week, I took with me only 2 yoyos both unresponsive (it is what I play), lot of string and a pair of pads and a bearing as replacement.
Was more than enough, if you play different styles just one yoyo for each style plus replacement parts should be more than fine
Whenever I travel I have my porter follow me around with a treasure chest full of about 500 yoyos.
one is all fun and games until you accidently throw it off a cliff.
Lmao mate, until now I had only fall on the seashore and a ding so bad that missaligned the halves but than I had the other one ready to save me lmao
i usually only bring 1
it get ised in the airport while waiting about and not much else (maybe in the hotel room before bed)
most of my holidays are full of fun activities that arent compatible with yoyoing, and it annoys my family members
Feels like experience to me
I may have responded to this earlier but who knows
If I’m traveling to a contest? Maybe two, I’m buying more there anyways.
If I’m traveling period? Whatever fits in my smaller yoyo case.
Just went to Mexico. It was Fixed Axle February so I took a Duncan Butterfly, Duncan Imperial and the Spinworth Survivalist.
Going to Rome in March. Trying to figure out which Modern Responsives I will take.
Thinking… G2 Workhorse, Origen and the El Mijo Polycarbonate.
I only have 12 throws between 2 small cases. I’d argue to take one of my small cases, which contains my 6 best yo-yos
