How many yo-yos do you take on vacation?

I usually take a fixed axle wood, a Raider and a couple of 1A types. Model or brand varies according to the mood I’m in when I pack.

I enjoyed reading the posts for this one as I’m finally going on a vacation for the first time a decade!
I’m planning on my Zero Gravity El Mijo, with its different bearings, I decided I wanted pocket friendly Slim, I’m only going to bring one. But I’m hopeful I can come home with more hehe

I took 3. Didn’t play them much but was glad they were there when I did play them. Took 2 metal modern responsives and a pocket sized unresponsive

2: 1 main throw that hopefully isn’t pristine and 1 undersized throw. We’re going on vacation in a couple of weeks and I’ll be taking my M+ and Baryon. :ok_hand:t3:

I tend to go on more event oriented vacations (skiing, music festivals), and I brought yoyos on every one ive taken in the past ~4 years. I usually just bring two or three, usually unresponsive. I didn’t have time to play with them at all. If I were going camping/hiking/fishing/etc, or going on a destination vacation, I would probably bring a 6 pack (extra string, bearings, tools just in the bag) with whatever unresponsives im throwing at the time, my beat up Ti-Vayder, and a few responsives (one of them being a wood fixie). I imagine id play with them a few times.

Here’s what I took on my trip to NYC back in January. I usually always take the Free Solo, Panorama, MCMO and Grail with me on vacations. I consider them my “staples” or ol reliable monometals.

Next “vacation” is Nationals, and obviously yoyo choice in this situation matters quite a bit more than your average getaway. I’ve gotten it down to these 24 yoyos (2 cases), which was actually pretty difficult to do. Have weirdly been planning what I’m gonna take for awhile lmao… I think this selection will allow me to get a taste of whatever I’m in the mood for in a given moment. What do we think?

I think like 4-6 for my upcoming vacation . Nothing high end probably a lot of my topyo or other yo-yos that perform well but didn’t break the bank buying .

There’s a lot of gold in there. Better make those carry-ons.

Me too. When I travel, El MiJo goes with me: pocket friendly plus I can play 3 different styles.

I haven’t been on vacation since I’ve gotten back into yoyos, but when I do I think I’d take a plastic responsive, unres slimline, and a metal unres and hope for the best.
